I work with resin, UV resin mostly, but there are some jobs where UV resin just won’t work. I really dreaded working with epoxy because mixing by hand, I’d have to keep stirring for up to 5 minutes straight putting much strain on my hands. It’s also practically impossible to get it mixed without any bubbles forming.However, there’s so many things you can do with epoxy that you just can’t do with UV resin, and epoxy can do just about anything that UV does, with better results.I was ordering supplies one day when this nifty resin mixer popped up in my recommended items, and I tossed it in the cart, and I’m so glad I did!Using this mixer, (when used properly, keeping the mixing blades closer to the bottom of your mixing cup for example) I get crystal clear resin with very little to no bubbles every time! Along with having to do less work degassing, I get my resin fully mixed in less time, doing less hard work.I have more working time with the resin while I’m getting ready to pour, and this mixer works great for adding pigments and other inclusions as well.Cleaning is fairly simple, after letting the liquid resin drip off for a bit (you can scrape it down using a small silicone spatula tool if you hate to waste even a drop, like me, lol!) just detach the mixing blade, wipe off any excess with either a baby wipe, or a paper towel soaked with isopropyl alcohol. I suppose you could also just let the resin harden and peel it off the mixing blade later, (although I’ve never tried that myself).Definitely worth. I absolutely recommend!

I'm a wood turner and make things on the lathe. I use epoxy resin to make my own pen blanks using using mica power, acrylic paint, or using objects or all the above. When I make a batch of resin for pen blanks, it's usually several ounces at a time. Mixing this by hand is tedious, messy, often very sticky and just plain labor intensive. There has to be a better way...There is! This resin mixer does the trick. It's also rechargeable, so you don't have to worry about batteries. This tool comes with two mixers; great for mixing two batches of separately tinted resin. You put your part A & B together and let this tool do the work. I mixed resin in 10oz batches (5oz of both part A & B since it was a 1:1) and it had no trouble with this. You keep the mixer below the surface so as to not introduce air bubbles. No more mixing by hand! It's also less mess because it's a nice consistent speed, not fast or slow but enough to mix resin. Using this tool the resin was mixed in half the time vs. doing it by hand.After mixing both parts, then comes the color. This was mixed in fairly quickly and evenly. Pour your well mixed resin in your molds and let it do the work. I use a pressure pot to cast my blanks, start with 60psi and keep it under pressure for at least 3-hours or overnight. I then pop the cast out of the mold, flip then upside down and let them cure the rest of the way. Read your instructions for your resin, it may be different.I found using this tool for my resin castings make it more of a pleasure than a chore to use. I now look forward to the next time I have to mix a batch for my craft.

This has totally saved my hands from cramping when mixing small batches of resin. I would have give it 5 stars but one of the paddle attachments broke at the top after about 10 uses.

Mixes well and easy to assemble and use, but the paddle is plastic and has to be cleaned thoroughly before resin dries on it.

Good price and worked well

This mixer works Great! It has great torque, more than enough for mixing epoxy resin and alike products. It has forward & reverse. I wish it had variable speeds, but still, it's a great little tool with excellent battery life. as far as zero or no bubbles ... if you are mixing small amounts of resin i.e. 100 ml or less, you are going to get bubbles with any mixer, but larger amounts will yield little to no bubbles with this mixer. I recommend this tool.

I like this product. I have arthritis in my hands in. This has made mixing resin so much better physically and has reduced bubbles. The only downside is I could not find any instructions either in the package or on their website as far as how to clean the resin off the paddles.Here's my post script: The thing died a couple of months after writing this review. Though I charged it, the charge doesn't take but for less than a minute. Will not purchase this brand again.

Using it for mixing various resins for various different types of castings. Really minimizes need for vacuum chamber use. Five stars!

Sehr praktisch sind die Laufrichtungen. Hier rührt er hoch oder runter. Durchs rühren nach oben werden Luftblasen schnell herauf befördert. Nach unten zum schnelleren Einrühren von Farben usw

Don't know why people are complaining - basic manufacture but does the job.

Bij aankomst deed bij het prima. Eenmaal leeg aan de bijgeleverde type C oplader gelegd. Binnen een paar seconden begint het te stinken!!! Laad niet meer op en doet dus helemaal NIKS meer! Een vergelijkbaar artikel via Ali besteld. Zelfde probleem. Wat een aanfluiting!!
