Only flaw is the extension can bend on you.

Not heavy duty and is very short in length.

Bent on the first use. While making a U-turn (yes, going forward) the trailer ran into the sway ball and bent the plate. The sway bar instructions recommend the sway bar ball be mounted about 1 & 3/8” forward of the main ball, but this hitch was purpose built for this so i figured it would work well.It bent the whole hitch side plate and a little bit of the hitch so I’m returning and will get the reese add-on plate for sway bar balls and see if that one works better.Was using with a 2018+ Ford Expedition Max. It has a pretty good turning radius even though it’s long, so you may not run into this issue if your vehicle doesn't turn as tightly.

DON"T FORGET TO DISENGAGE ANTI-SWAY WHEN PARKING! IT WILL BEND!That said, it works when you are on the road just fine. I would expect a higher grade metal for this. The weld is spot on, so no tearing though.Still content with the purchase and I didn't bend it beyond useable, but buyer beware.

Curt makes good products....we bought an Anti-Sway bar for our travel trailer...our present hitch did not have the necessary side bar with hole for the SwayBar ball...this hitch is perfect...

well made, good welds, good paint job. The only reason I took off a star is that they didn't grind the welds flat. That is only an issue if you have a ball with a large base. The top weld will have to be ground flat or the ball will be crooked and never stay tight.
