I was happy that it stuck to my floor and my sewing machine foot pedal stays in place.

Although they will definitely hold just about anything you lay on it, they're a little more "stickier" than need be. But, I'm using one to help prevent a small tear in my vinyl consol of my truck from tearing more!! Lol

I read the description before ordering, but for some reason it didn't click that these are the size of my hand. I have no use for these. I wasted my money. My fault

This mat is great for putting anything on it and knowing it wont slide off. I have an older car that does not have a nook for everything- this works great.

So, I bought one of these from a different seller (and a different company that made it) a while back, and I believe the product itself is not faulty. The main problem is the packaging I received it in. For something that is meant to be stuck to something, and keep things stuck to it, it should not be shipped top open, in a flimsy plastic bag, with bent cardboard on the back. The previous seller I bought from shipped a very similar mat with two plastic sheets very tightly sealed onto both ends of the mat so that it retains its adhesion. Just know that there's a chance you get a barely functional adhesive product if you buy this.

I am using this to hold ink pads and paint bottles from sliding around on my craft table and I am using it my car for my cell phone. So far so good! Also, item came 1 day earlier than promised!

I have a 15x magnification mirror...it's round, about 6 inches in diameter...about the weight of a cell phone. I do not use it in the car to hold my cell phone, so I can not speak to that. I would think if you just want to PLACE your phone on your dash, it would stay put. I don't know if it would hold up if you place it vertically .I use this mat to apply my makeup...but I need it to be eye level. I put this mat on the back of the round mirror and then I stick it vertically to my wall mirror and it STAYS! I've tried other kinds, but they seem to "slip" while I'm applying eye liner and that's not a good thing. So far I'm only using one. It lasts...and you can clean the back if you feel it should be stickier. These mats hold...and yes, I will buy them again if need be.

We moved to a new flat three months ago. There wasn't a place for our telly and we didn't want to install it on the wall. We decided to place it on top of the fireplace which has a thin 16cm glass surface at the top. We were afraid that the telly would fall off the surface because it wasn't that stable there. Our solution was to purchase 5 mats and position them below the TV base. They work wonderfully - the telly is stable and we have one less thing to worry about! But don't try this at home ;-)

These pads retain their stickiness well. Attract dust though. I find that my car dash embossing pattern prevented good adhesion. Phone did not slip but pad remained stuck to the phone rather than the dash when phone lifted from dashboard. Got tired of continually peeling the pad off the phone. Would not buy again. If the pad is stuck to a vertical surface, any object stuck to it drops off after a few minutes. Good stickiness, poor adhesion.

I use these pads in my car for holding loose change (I use a toll bridge) and things like a small notebook and pen to make notes. They do pick up dust and lose adhesion, and although the blurb says you can restore them simply by washing them, they are never quite as sticky as when new. My tip, keep the top clear plastic sheet over the pad when it is not being used, and it will give much longer service.

I purchased these a few months back but was a little disappointed with the thickness of the pads and wrote a review accordingly. The seller made contact and offered to send a new set of pads free of charge; The new pads were of a far better quality and really hold my mobile securely to the dashboard of my car. I would highly recommend these Anti-Slip Pads

You might not need 5 of these, but you will find uses for them if you have 5. I needed them to stop some furniture slipping on a wooden floor (i cut some into smaller pieces). The others I have on my desk to prop my phone up, one on my dashboard, one on the fridge to stick notes to...uses are endless.
