Cheap and simple
If you are looking for a cheap simple alarm to deter thieves then I would recommend this alarm. The alarm has a built-in vibration/shock sensor, with a knob to adjust sensitivity. It does a good job at sensing vibration. it has wiring for positive or negative door triggers, hood triggers, parking and interior light, lock /unlock doors and engine power off. Again this is a basic alarm so the wiring is pretty simple. if your are a novice it comes with instructions that are some what simple to follow. You get 2 remotes with it. for a low end alarm this is pretty good. if you need wiring diagrams for your car to aid with the install check out the12volt.com.

Great system, but only as a door lock/unlock controller
I bought this system several months ago and just got around to installing it. I wanted just a simple door lock/unlock controller without any of the alarm functions. I also have a Crimestopper RS4-G3 which is excellent for this purpose (5 stars) but was worried that two nearby systems may interfere so I bought something else.My 1990 BMW 735i (e32) has a positive triggered locking system so I needed two relays to actuate the pulses. No big deal. I only connected four wires to the box, +12v, ground, lock, and unlock. I have no need for the security system and find it causes more trouble than it's worth with the engine immobilizer and I didn't need any lights flashing. The locks are loud enough in that car *KLUNK*All went smoothly until I went to plug it in. The car locked immediately and an internal relay kept clicking every second. I could make it stop sometimes by connecting the side door sensor wires. It would work fine for a few minutes and then suddenly freeze up again, not responding to the remote, with the relay clicking away.I disassembled the box and found the vibration sensor to be a suspended piezo element with a spring-mass at the end of it. I didn't need it and it could only cause problems, so I removed it. There is only one relay and it's for the flashing directional lights. I removed that too. And now the system works great! It seems like the piezo vibration sensor was overly sensitive and would react to the relay clicking. Once I removed the piezo the problem went away. It seemed to be going into a protect mode and locking down the car. If I had the speaker connected I'm sure I would have been enjoying the pleasant music during the lockdown. I pulled the relay just because it was the only other mechanical part on the board and was just another failure point that could pull phantom current and kill the battery. The relay also clicks a few times on lock/unlock to signal that the command was received and I found it quite annoying. It required some easy modifications but is perfect for what I wanted it for. The remotes are very high quality and have a real brushed metal face. The range is very good (~6 large car lenghts) with the receiver underneath the rear seat, mounted on the electrical box.

It will lock you out.
The autolock on this thing is serious about keeping the doors locked. If the key is in the ignition it WILL lock the doors, whether you are in the car or not. Hop out to grab the mail? Car locks. Need to move something out of the road? Car locks. Want to check something under the hood with the car running? Car locks. I've contacted the seller to see if there is a way to shut off the autolock, and they just sandbagged and then sent google search results. Going to replace this with something better as soon as possible.

At the price, not bad at all.
All I needed was keyless entry, but I went ahead and hooked most of the features up. Dome light control (I like a lot, keeps the dome light on for a bit after you get in) rear hatch unlock on second button, parking lights blink, and the normal alarm stuff, so it senses door opening and key turned to "on" and locks and unlocks doors. Pretty good value. Look, yes, you have to know what you're doing (like any alarm install) and you will need a couple relays for all functions (but not required for basics) and obviously you need power locks, duh. Also, it can be quirky, sometimes it arms itself after I unlock it, and silent lock only works once after you take key out of ignition, it seems. Oh, and it really helps if your car has an alarm connector, in other words, alarm was an option but not installed, because then it's basically prewired from the factory and you can trace down the pinouts for your connector. And connect those to the appropriate wire on the alarm.

Very nice looking
Shipment was very fast. Have not installed it yet will try to this weekend. I like the way the remotes look and the slide cover to protect the remote buttons. The instructions are on the back cover of the booklet to install this alarm with all the wiring colors for the alarm. Looking forward to installing this system. I recommend this seller. Once I install it will add more to this review.10/27/13 I installed it yesterday and was very easy to install plus I have been installing anything aftermarket in cars for many many years and this alarm is one of the easiest I have installed. Didn't need anything extra for the door locks to work, but will for the ignition kill which is no biggy the usual for some alarms. So far working great and hasn't gone off for no reason at all only when I was checking it out trying when you open the doors or shock to vehicle. For the price you really can't go wrong with this alarm at all. Five star rating stays for this product. And if you need a better view of the install instruction you can print out go to the website that was posted by someone that purchased it and you have a larger view to work with and the wiring specs are right on point.

Disappointed .....
The product looks rather weak in terms of quality, but I gave it a try because of the price. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to give it a good test. We had a problem with the install and found the instructions to be absolutely terrible. Then to my surprise, I could not find any manufacturer name or phone or website or any contact information. It seems the manufacturer does not want to be associated with this product and provides no support of any kind.I cannot recommend such a product.
