Totally not a fake Chinese bot review here. This is a 100% bonafide authentic review of the product.I’ve got to admit that I was weary of ordering this thing due to there being zero reviews at the time, I went ahead and took a chance since Amazon backs up the return policy. I’ve got to say that this is probably the best digital lock product I’ve used so far, at least for knobs/deadbolts that only take up a single bore on a door.The aesthetic of this thing is very nice, it appears to be built of an all metal construction which is much more than I can say for the typical Schlage and Kwikset digital lock kits. The operation of this lock is very smooth and it has a great tactile feel when turning. Complaints are the following:1. The touchscreen is ok, it looks sharp but isn't as responsive as I’ve come to expect here in the year if 2020. It’s screen is only “OK”.2. Not to be all preachy about the country of origin.... but it’s China. At this point, considering recent stories of the Chinese government imposing back door access into most of the COM boards manufactured for electric goods; I do not trust any electronic device coming out of that country tonot be spying on me. I would refrain from syncing up your fingerprint to this device, unlike the iPhone, the fingerprint data is unlikely to only stay on the on board memory of the device. Also, you cannot set up this device without syncing it to your phone via Bluetooth. It would be nice if you could simply set new codes using an admin code like most other conventional digital locks.

I had my reservations about this particular lock, but upon opening the package, I was seriously impressed. I would consider this to be a fairly heavy duty lock. It's heavy (literally), solid and well built. Installation wasn't the easiest, but as long as you follow the directions, you'll be fine. Pairing the lock (via Bluetooth) to the ttlock phone app was a piece of cake and provides all the settings needed to get the lock functional within a couple of minutes. If you require remote access to the lock, you will need to purchase the optional wifi bridge.The main reason I purchased this lock was for the fingerprint reader. As with all fingerprint readers, it can be a bit finicky, but as long as you train the reader properly and position your finger correctly, it doesn't have any issues.My main complaint with the installation of this lock, is the latch plate. The latch plate provided is the cheapest, flimsiest piece of metal that you can easily and effortlessly bend with your fingers, basically complete garbage. I ended up using the original latch plate. It really surprised me that they included such a low quality piece, with such a beefy lock. The only other thing that is somewhat annoying, is that the lock actually talks to you to tell you if your code or fingerprint is authorized on that lock. This can be turned off in the app, BUT when you do that, it also turns off the beep tones when punching in a numeric code and it makes it somewhat difficult to know if you're actually pressing and entering a number. If it weren't for these couple of minor issues, I would give this lock a solid 5 stars.I've had this lock installed for about a week. So far, it's been great. The lock requires 4 AA batteries (not included), but I cannot comment on battery life yet. Overall, I recommend this purchase.---As an FYI, it is now 10/09/22, pushing 2 years and I have yet to change the batteries in this lock. After much use, the fingerprint reader is still a bit finicky, but I attribute this to changing conditions with my hands and not directly the reader. If you purchase this lock and start to have issues with the reader, such as in cold weather, I would recommend adding multiple instances of the same finger to get more accurate results.

Use at the entrance gate for months. outdoor parts goes high temperature sometime during daytime, but still works good. I ues finger and code, not IC card. Cause card can be copied.Battery keep 100% after two monthsAfter 2 years, the fingerprint sensor has rust on it's underside and has made the lock unusable because it does not turn on when the sensor is connected.

I installed on a door that is used occasionally. It all worked great for the first 5 months. Then the fingerprint sensor just stopped working. I emailed the company for advice on trouble shooting but got zero response. I would look elsewhere if it needs to be used on a main entrance. Definitely disappointed by this product. I have other door locks that I purchased at the same time to see which one was better. I will be replacing this very sub-par doorknob today.

Overall the lock is great! The tech is awesome. The door innovation is bigger than expected and it makes for a hatter grip to get in my front door, but this is such a handy system.**The 2 physical keys still Do Not Work! Messages sent to seller and manufacturer with Zero reply.

I chose this smart door knob because it has a physical key to open it as well as the finger print reader, number pad, tags, and app control.Setup was relatively easy however I did have a defective, double headed screw with no threading. This wasn't a deal breaker because I was able to hammer it into hole and the part it connected to, but it wasn't ideal. Setup was relatively easy and instructions are fairly good.The star of this door knob is the app that comes with it. I found the app very intuitive and easy to use. While installing the door knob took some time, actually programming it through the app took about 5-10 minutes. Within this short period of time I was able to set multiple finger prints for myself and my wife, program 2 tags, set the numerical password, and test the physical keys.The app uses bluetooth and phone location to communicate with the door knob. So far I am impressed. The only thing to measure now is the longevity. Hopefully it just keeps working. Battery levels for the knob are show on the app. Changing batteries just requires you to unscrew the interior side of the knob and replace them out.

Works about a year, then it wouldn't turn back on, even changed new battery still can turn back on.
