They work. The lines don't pop out. I bought plastic ones at Home Depot and the lines would pop right out. Ditched those and bought these. No problems since.

Easy way to adapt to grarden hose.

I really like this product for the most part, the one problem I have with it (and it is kind of a minor one) is that it is very difficult to get the brass piece which is basically a locking coupler (it goes on over the 1/4" tubing and secures it to the portion that connects to the water faucet) to slide over the hard tubing so I had to use silicone tubing for it to work. Once I remedied the problem of the tubing it was all smooth sailing, and this worked great and will allow me to set up my drop irrigation system in the flowerbed and perhaps another in a small garden once spring is here.I recommend this product and may get another batch of them since in my application a 4 pack will only do 1 system the way I am setting it up (watering 2 places with a section of regular hose in between to reduce the amount of unused tubing I require).

I'm using one of the adapters with my garden hose and 1/4" tubing to water my flower bed. It couldn't have been easier to install, but I am curious how to make best use of the included netting/mesh piece. As this solution is working well for me (no leaks), I will get a hose splitter and use a second adapter so I may reach a second flower bed. I'm pleased with these adapters.
