Insulting Parrot Polly The

Perhaps I got a defective unit, but you can walk by it 20 times and it won't say anything. I have to pick it up and turn it upside down before it may finally decide to say something but that defeats the whole purpose. Thinking about returning it.UPDATE: Amazon sent me a replacement and this one worked better out of the box. However, the initial one is now better once I set a couple of thin felt pads under the front of its perch to raise the motion detector sensor slightly. Now it is roughly as good as the new one ! So I have revised my review and have given it four out of five stars instead of one. And having the two of them side by side and saying the same crude phrases in unison is actually kind of funnier.

Parrot talks when someone walks buy. Motion detection works good, but voice is just a bit distorted. Still you can understand what it says, and it says very obscene, crude, insulting remarks with lots of sexual content. Curses like a sailor. You really can't get much more vulgar and offensive. But if that's what you want, go for it!

Came in handy with the passing of Jimmy Buffett. Many people laughed, others shook their head. He's a dirty bird. 👍

All is good

The bird is cute and definitely gives an island vibe, but you can not understand what the bird says. I turned mine off. It's no fun when you have to tell everyone what the bird said.
