Good value for the money.
Used this on a 12 ft gate. It was easy to install and works great. It took a few hours to put up but is well worth it. It opens the gate just fine and came with 2 remotes. A little slow but at least I dont have to get out of my car to open the gate anymore.

NOT REALLY AS REPRESENTED-----VERY POOR QUALITY AND UNRELIABLE
All I can say is awesome product. Easy to install, easy to set up. Works flawlessly right from the get go. We live in the pacific northwest and will no longer have to get out of the vehicle to open and close the gate in the drenching rains. I bought the solar cell charger (10 amp) coupled with an automotive battery so I didn't have to run electric to the gate openers. I should have purchased this a long time ago. Installation would probably work better if you had a helper to help hold things up to mark holes to drill, but all in all still very easy. It took me about 8 hours to accomplish this by myself. But, the longest part if the install was digging through the rocky hard dirt the length on the two gates. This kit is complete!!! you shouldn't need to buy anything else. We did buy another remote to keep in the house so we can just sit in the chair inside the house and open the gate for company. Pretty lazy huh....... but very nice. A really great product. Worth every penny. Thank you Mighty Mule. Every once in awhile a really great product comes along, and this was it for me.Update: 2 years later:The system has completely quit working properly. The opener for the second gate starts to open and then stops. This makes the first gate stop and reverse and then it stops before it closes. Then both gates are stuck open. You can use the jog buttons to adjust the open or close limits. The whole thing locks up and the alarms come on. Tried to use the wire slots in the primary gates slots for gate number 2. Didn't work there either. Removed the ram and opened it and ran it just to power and it works. But hook it up and it doesn't work. No broken wires to the gate 2 opener. Now I am down to one gate only. Called Mighty Mule and all the girl says is oh well buy another opener, but a new control board. Doesn't matter what you buy. Everything is $275. Once you install it you can't return it. So my opinion of this product went from a five star review to a negative 5 star rating. They don't offer any solutions, rather than to just buy a new unit. Huh???? In my opinion that is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My recommendation it to buy a much better quality product. Those usually start at over $1100. Don't waste your time buying their product. They don't care either.

Good Opener but just a little challenging to install
This is a great opener now that it's finally installed. Here's a few things that I had problems with.1. If you don't have conduit's or power installed to where you're going to install the opener, it'll take you a few hours for that. 4 hrs. for me. I didn't want the solar option.2. Make sure you understand the opening and closing limits. It took me another 4 hrs. to make my final adjustments and calling their customer assistance line. I also had to make a custom mounting bracket, just because of how I had to mount my gate on the posts. I couldn't move them. (Retro fitting the opener to an existing gate really was a pain)3. On the positive side, the programming of the remotes was very easy. Please don't get me wrong, after all the challenges of installing everything by myself, it's worth it! It's nice to have the security and convenience of an automatic gate opener. Thanks for reading, hope this helps!

Great gate opener
The media could not be loaded. Great gate opener. Took a few hours to install but installation was not too difficult. The directions were pretty good and the GTO YouTube videos were helpful. My only complaint is the opener requires a 12v battery that is not included so I had to call their support line for help. If you do not connect the control box to a battery it will not work. The ac power cord is only there to charge the battery not operate the opener. The adjustments inside the control box are very nice and you can add all sorts of accessories.

Promise not delivered.
Tech support was non-existent. Their website was down and asked to try in 15 min, and was not working entire day. Called their 800 number Wednesday after New year, and the pre-recorded message was saying they will be back Tuesday!! Which Tuesday. I finally figured it out by myself, but buyer be aware. The wire on second opener was long and good to reach the mother board, but the 1st opener's wire was so short, I had to place the box very near post.Instruction for installation is good, but to hook up the juice and get it going, you are pretty much on your own. Oh, even though the battery is the backup, the system does not work without it and nowhere in the installation does it say that.

Works well.
It works well, opens the gate as designed. It is noisy but we are far from the next house.Noted something however. One leaf of the gate or the motor on one leaf is slower than the other. Can this be adjusted?

Quality so so
I like the fact that I can open my gate remotely however I have had several headaches. The first issue was the remotes. They were not on the same frequency and had to have them send me another one. The other issue was the control board. The unit would work great for testing purposes but when you thought you had it working you went to bed and woke up in the morning and it wasn't working. After figuring it out and calling tech support it was actually going into sleep mode. They sent a new control box and now that is fixed. The issue just happened today. I went out to the fence and the Mule arm where the plastic connects to the pin snapped. Cheap plastic. The gate is not that heavy and it was not that windy but it broke. Since it is only two months old I will see if they will replace it. I hope they back up their product. Will keep you posted.

Great solution for our double RV gates
Great solution for our double RV gates. Couldn't find a company to install. They all wanted well over $2,500 for their systems. We only paid a little over $500 for everything we needed. Had an issue with the gates stopping & reversing. Called their Customer Service line and the rep was VERY helpful (well trained, courteous, patient, empathetic, etc.) Then, found out I had the "obstruction" sensor set wrong. Works great.
