Kerr Wide Mouth Quart Glass Preserving Jars 32oz (2 Pack) Made in USA

I received this package of 16 canning jars today. One jar was broken. There was no damage to the shipping box and all other jars were in good shape. It seemed particularly strange since there was no evidence of damage to the shipping box, but one jar (in the middle, not on the ends) was completely shattered and sunken into the box. Either the jar was defective so a minor bump shattered it, or it was put into the shipping box broken. I'm not sure which. The only padding in the shipping box was a wad of brown paper under and another on top of the standard box of canning jars.Normally I wouldn't be too upset about 1 of 16 jars being broken when ordering through the mail, but since canning jars are so much more expensive and hard to find, it is pretty irritating.

After receiving several messages that my jars had been shipped, turns out nada fajita senor. No jars. It was an exciting ten days waiting for them.Alas, I fear my jars were sold to a higher bidder.

Only one case arrived with a 2 pack order. The package came from Walmart.com. If I wanted to order from Walmart I would have and probably got both cases

Do not order glass jars. Some were broken in tiny pieces. Not safe to try to repack to resend.

I’d like to say these were easy to clean and durable. I’d like to say they were a good value. But they were never delivered.

Picture shows 2 cases, I only got one case.

The seller did a good job on rectifying a broken jar, giving credit back for what broke rather than having to return the whole case of jars. Thank you J&L sellers!
