I was not pleased back when the tech giants decided all new phones were going C-type with no jacks...but we roll with the punches. My car isn't equipped with Bluetooth so AUX is the only option and an adapter the only solution.I like that you can charge your phone with this adapter too, and in theory the "zipper" feature should've been helpful....but unfortunately it just looks kinda cool.The darn thing will **not** stay zipped to save it's life. I resorted to using a velcro cable wrap to keep it in place. You buy it, you'll have to do something similar - with reasonably heavy use it'll not only annoy but compromise the integrity of the wires eventually and have to be replaced. My old one stopped working one day just from the plug in/out routine. Words to the wise!
