Nice looking sturdy chair, essentially a cheaper version of the DXRacer I was using
I have owned a DXRacer King Series seat for about a year and a half now, and I've loved it. It was very comfortable to sit in for hours, my back and butt didn't get sore, and it looked nice. Unfortunately, about a year in is when it started showing some problems: the arms physically broke from the chair and required epoxy/glue to hold (kind of) in place, and then the tilt function on the seat broke entirely. For a chair that cost me $550, and whose parts were out of warranty by about 6 months, I was, needless to say, a bit...disappointed.I began looking at all of these recent generic brand "racing style" chairs that have popped up on Amazon for a suitable replacement, and came across this chair. While it didn't have any reviews, it did match some of the criteria that I'd set when looking for a new chair - that it essentially mimicked the shape and style of the DXRacer at a lower cost. And it does...to a degree. The chair is, for all intents and purposes, more or less the same. The shape, particularly regarding the seat back wing span and the seat cushion, looks as though it was modeled directly after the chair I was using. The seat is the same size, however the raised lips on either side are slightly sharper on the HULLR, leading to a bit less "comfortable" width on the seat. This doesn't affect me, however someone with larger thighs or a bigger posterior might notice it more. The base is made of steel, where the DXRacer was made of pastic, and rolls more easily across carpeting - the new chair feels a bit lighter overall than the other. The armrests are slightly different than the DXRacer; while they move up and down, and swivel out, they do not slide further out to the right and left and are "fixed" on a lateral plane. They are, however, sturdy, and they came preassembled in the box (the DXRacer did not have preassembled arms and they were difficult to install). A point of note, on the DXRacer, this HULLR, and pretty much every other chair of this style, the arms are mounted with a plastic PVC slide, and not directly metal to metal. The plastic of this slide is the weak point and will eventually break if you apply too much pressure to it, as in with extensive leaning, or (like I did) pushing it against the desk as the chair spun when I was standing up. On the DXRacer, where this break occurred, I used epoxy and shock absorbing super glue to remount it to the chair, and while this worked, it was an ugly and temporary fix - I am considering pre bracing these new arms ahead of time by coating the plastic seams with epoxy. The seat is comfortable enough, and feels as padded as the DXRacer, but I have ordered an additional memory foam seat cushion to use as well (Extra-Large TravelMate Seat Cushion with Specially Designed Non-Slip Cover to Prevent it from Sliding Even on Polished Marble Floor (Size: 19 x 17 x 3 inches)). I also reccomend getting yourself a pair of armrest cushions, because the armrests, while soft, over time can do a number on your elbows; I use (Elbow Pillow --- Jumbo Memory Foam Arm Rest Office Chair Arm Computer Pads - Universal Cushion Covers for Armrest and Elbow Relief (2 Pad Set)) and it really makes the chair more comfortable overall. The only thing I wish I'd looked at harder before I ordered was the seat tilt function. After it'd been pointed out to me by another Amazon customer that the seat can, in fact, tilt back, I was disappointed that I was unable to lock that tilt into position. It is not uncomfortable as it is, but I'd grown accustomed to the tilt-lock present on the DXRacer and it took a bit to get used to not having it again. The chair does lean back, as shown, and the seat will tilt backwards if I exert pressure on it, but adding a tilt-lock to it would have made it pretty much perfect. This chair is, for the most part, mostly the same as the DXRacer at literally less than half the cost. The attachment mechanism on the side of the chair is the same down to the plastic housing, the seat material feels the same, the arms look like they were a cheaper model made by the same company - in fact the entire chair feels like it is a generic brand made by the same company...which doesn't surprise me much seeing as how a lot of the items on Amazon are, in fact, from one or two main suppliers.I'd buy it again, considering the cost, assuming it holds up at least as long as my other chair did. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and assembly took me a leisurely half-hour or so while I was watching Law and Order. All things considered, I'd recommend this as a good purchase, despite the lack of reviews available for the product. I don't usually buy things online without reviews, but in this case, I'm satisfied that I did.I've included some photos of the chair by itself, and next to the DXRacer King Series that I was comparing it to, with my daughter sitting in both as to provide a relative size ratio between the two. I don't usually include quite this many pictures, either, but because its expensive and there are no other reviews, I've added a bunch to help make a decision.

Excellent build quality
Just received this chair, so this is more my initial thoughts than a full fledged review. Overall I'm very impressed with the build quality. All of the welds look and feel solid, the arm rests can support my entire body weight (around 200lb), and the rollers are very smooth (the base is all metal, no plastic). The leather is decent, about what you would expect at this price point. Not extremely nice, but also not cheap or flimsy. The stitching is all single-thread and is what I'm most concerned about experiencing wear and tear.Although I think the back pillow is nice, I prefer to sit without it most of the time. The head pillow is way to bulky to really be anything but ornamental in my opinion.Assembly was pretty quick, with very clear instructions. I received a two spare plastic trim pieces that may have been included by mistake as they were spares for already assembled out of box. Although I don't think I'll ever need them, it's definitely welcomed. I also received two hardware/tool sets so I've got an entire set of spare bolts/washers/screws. Only tools that are required are included with your purchase, an Allen key and a Phillips head. Total assembly was maybe 30 mins. After reading reviews for similar chairs, I'm now certain I made the right purchase. No problems out of box, no hacking things together. I definitely feel I've gotten what I paid for. I have a friend with a DXRacer ($400ish), and I would definitely say this chair comparable in quality.

Solid, comfortable chair - needs some breaking in, slight safety issue
PROS -- Solid construction. Much sturdier than the average office chair.- Seat is well padded with a strong gas pump. Shouldn't sink unless you want it to.- Head and back pads are easily moved to your customization.- Arm rests are adjustable both in height and sideways tilt.- Casters roll easily.- Had all the parts I needed.CONS- Took a couple days to get used to (back/shoulders were a little sore at first).- After a few months, the arm rests tilt to the side with the lightest pressure.- Slight safety issue: be careful about leaning forward / sitting a bit on the front edge. If one of the 5 legs isn't directly under you in the front center, the chair can (and has for me) pivot all the way forward. Can usually catch it before, but I've had a couple prat falls (embarrassing, no pain/injury).OVERALLWould recommend for what seems to be a solid chair for years.

Awesome chair...just a little noisy.
After comparing so many different gaming/office chairs, I ended up going with this one mostly because I loved the look. I've now been using it for about a week and love it so far! It was very easy to assemble (took about 20 mins and came with everything you need). It's a really comfortable chair and love that it can lock at any angle. I tried both the lower back pillow and head pillow and ended up removing the back pillow; it's just pretty awkward feeling. So far the only negative I've encountered so far is that it started creaking on day 3. Any time I shift my weight around at all the chair squeaks pretty loudly (and I'm not exactly heavy; I'm about 165lbs).PROS:- looks amazing- easy to assemble- really comfortable (adjustable back and arm rests)CONS- plenty of "squeaking"Love the chair overall! Just disappointed it started squeaking so soon.
