So I waited until I bought two of them and used it over a six month period before writing a review. This product is incredible. I moved to an area that has the hardest water I've ever encountered. I did a lot of research, both using Amazon reviews and YouTube videos ranking the products, and thought that this one looked to have the most positive response. I'm really glad I chose to buy this because I feel a difference in my hair and my skin since I started using it. This filter really softened the water. The only thing is that it lasts 3/4 of the total duration it advertises, but I don't mind it so much. It could be that the water here is just that bad. As with air filters for air purifiers, I've kind of learned that they don't last for as long as they're advertised. Because I know this is the case for so many kinds of filters, I'm still giving this product a 5 star rating because it really helps to soften the water. Moreover, I was afraid it wouldn't fit correctly, but the two I've had gave me no problems when hooking them up to the shower. I'll keep buying these for as long as necessary.

We have ridiculously hard water where I live. "Buildup" isn't even the phrase I'd use. As soon as you turn off the water, it's like barnacles are all over everything. Itchy skin, dull hair and hair loss were such a problem... until I got this filter. What a difference: No buildup for months, smooth skin, shiny hair. The filter didn't last as long as advertised (only a month shorter) but I had a feeling it wouldn't because the water here is seriously that bad. I will buy again, because life is miserable without it

My calendar said it was time to change the water filter (so I did) but the performance of the filter system never wavered. I live in a city with pretty great water to begin with, but hate the smell of chlorine when I shower. This little unit has cleaned that right up. It has not affected the water flow to any noticeable extent and makes my shower time that much more wonderful.

Skin and hair doesn’t dry out anymore since installing the product. Installation was a little tricky but once on gives a good tight fit to both pipe and shower head.

Amazon recommended Hydroluxe Full-Chrome 24 Function Ultra-Luxury...Interlink.Doesn't work with filter to lock in place. Making it work but expected better. Can't lock in spray wand and shower head from rotating with this filter

I uses this with my CasaFlow shower filter and it works very well. This is my second filter and it really keeps the harsh chemicals out of my water.

What I liked about this unit is the digital meter on it, which lets you know when to change it...!! And the fact that it doesn't restrict the flow...!!

I notice a much nicer smell and feel to the shower water after installing. You can use this to fill up your bathtub if you have a long shower hose, too!
