Really nice cookware
This saute pan is a nice size. The duel handle feature makes it easy to pick up as it is a little heavy, especially when it is full. This pan is very easy to clean, but with it's size I would recommend hand washing. This pan is good for making a larger dish. It has an even heat distribution which allows for the food to cook without having to be constantly stirred. I have noticed that I am using less oil, butter or spray when I am cooking as the non-stick surface works really well. I keep coming up with new ideas of things to cook to try and challenge the pan.

This pan performs as advertised!
This pan replaced my go to skillet pan which I have used almost daily for years. This pan cooks as advertised, evenly heating the food, truly a no stick surface, even with searing and charring food. Cleanup is a breeze, I love this pan!

Good Fry Skillet thats easy to clean.
The skillet would proably perform better on gas verses electric range. But overall its a very good product.

Outside damages easily: interior nonstick is fabulous: overly priced for overall quality
The media could not be loaded. (NOTE): I have ordered three individual MSMK pans/pots so I will be reviewing each separately. However, as they are of the same manufacturer and cookware line (MSMK), I’ll be reporting a lot of the same information on each pan with small tweaks for their individual differences. As a result, you may read much of the same information in each review. (END NOTE)The MSMK 4 1/2 Quart Nonstick Sauté Pan with lid is solid and has an excellent nonstick interior coating. They are dishwasher safe though it is recommended, as with most nonstick pans/pots, that you hand wash them instead. The nonstick surface is so fabulous that you’ll find it’s easier to hand wash anyway and save the room in the dishwasher for the stuff that is more difficult to wash. The nonstick coating inside the pan is very smooth and looks as if it’s actually part of the metal as opposed to a coating on the metal. I find these types of coating last significantly longer than the rubberized type you see on the less expensive pans. So far the interior nonstick coating hasn’t suffered any ill effect from any food or utensils we have thrown at it. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the exterior. More on that in a minute. At 4 1/2 quarts, the pan is massive with very deep sides and can easily hold a meal for a family of 8-10. I love that the pan is oven safe up to 700 degrees adding to its versatility. The advertisement boasts that the pan is safe for induction but I’m unable to test that due to my stove being a simple convection glass top. The glass lid is sturdy and well-seated with a small steam vent to help stop food seepage around the edges when the food is boiling hot. The 4 1/2 quart pan has an additional large-sized helper handle which is awesome for when the pan is fully loaded and extra heavy. This is especially nice since the pan itself is extra heavy on its own (as compared to other manufacturer’s pans its size). The pan bottom hasn’t warped at all from the heat like a lot of pans do. The metal of the pan is really thick which helps keep the bottom from warping so it stays flat for even cooking across the whole burner. But, will it stand the test of time? I’ll report back should any issues start to arise later. What I don’t like about the bottom is the ridged rings that cover nearly the entire bottom of the pan. While they are very shallow, so much so that you can’t feel their depth with your fingers, they still stain/discolor from use. No matter how I try to keep it clean, it simply doesn’t ever look clean. It stains with dark spots all over the super shiny silver bottom rings from the heat and food that gets onto the cooktop while its hot. This makes the pan unsightly for hanging on the pot rack. I’m going to have to do a little research to see how best to shine it back up. Until then, they store inside the cupboard which brings me to the next issue. The exterior has a more rubberized feeling to the coating. It’s reminiscent of the cheap nonstick rubberized coating on the interior of less expensive pans. Therefore, it’s softer than the hardened nonstick interior of the pan so it’s easier to scratch and peel. The exterior has sustained a few blemishes from the typical storage situation any pot/pan experiences in a cupboard among the other pots/pans. My pans stack in the cupboard in the interest of maximizing space. The price of an individual pan in the MSMK cookware line is very hefty. For the price, I’d like to have seen the pan show no signs of wear, interior OR exterior, for a very long time. First use and storage, the 4 1/2 quart sauté pan exterior is blemished. More unsightly marks making it unworthy of the hanging pot rack for display.Another reviewer commented at how the nonstick is coming off at the rim. The pictures looked like significant damage was occurring. I don’t know why this is happening with with her pans but I can tell you why it happened to my pans in the past. I had a habit of banging my spoons on the edges after stirring. I had plastic spoons with metal handles. I did my part to protect the pan inside but the metal edge of the utensils banging the pan’s rim, which is also covered in nonstick coating, caused a lot of unnecessary damage to my pan. Upgrade your utensils to protect your cookware if you have metal handles. You will regret it if you don’t. If you don’t want to upgrade utensils, you might try finding another way to bang food off your spoon that doesn’t involve the pan’s rim.Overall, I love the interior nonstick quality of the pans though this is not a pan set that I will continue to complete. I definitely don’t feel they are worth the hefty price per individual pan. The exterior paint should not be damaged first use and storage. I can just imagine how the pan exterior is going to look after a year of use. Definitely not hanging pot rack worthy. In my opinion, they are significantly overpriced for the overall quality. I will still be looking for a set with an exterior as durable as the interior.
