I have a door with a Euro style lock (combined deadbolt and handle with a locking cylinder). Because of this I could not use a normal “smart lock”. I tried another option which failed miserably, but this product was fantastic! It literally installed in minutes with only a Philips head screw driver, and fit my door perfectly. The design is brilliant. As you can see from the picture my setup required a non-standard installation, but the design handled it without a problem. I was concerned that the sticky pad mounting would not hold up, but it has without a problem. All in all there was zero modification to my existing lock, zero drilling, and just adjusting the height with the screw driver. It has also worked flawlessly. I live in a pretty hard environment with high humidity, but this has worked like a champ, not once failing to lock or unlock. Not only that, manual usage with either the key or the knob is as smooth and easy as when it was just the lock. My door uses a double lock (turn the handle twice to lock) and this learned that and always works. Finally the hub integration is flawless. I get notifications anywhere about the door locking or unlocking. I can lock/unlock the door anywhere, and best of all I can just say “Lock Bedroom” on Alexa/Google and the door locks. Unlocking requires me to say a PIN for safety but Google/Alexa prompts me for that after I say “Unlock Bedroom”. The bedroom door is an exterior door, and the elements have not affected the operation at all.

It didn’t work for me which is I guess due to kind of Lock I had (it is a bit hard to turn which caused the failure I believe ). But if I had a different mechanism I will still buy the product as it is a small sturdy product and was very easy install. Took me less than 5 minutes and it works as advertised. I believe if I had a smoother mechanism for my lock this would have worked fine. A quick update : I reached out to company before my return and they confirmed my suspicion as well that it was type of lock mechanism I had which caused the fail. I will recommend this product to anyone who looking for a small gadget which is so easy to install and works as advertised.

so, this is something that I wanted for a while, the adapter that turnes pretty much any lock with turn handle into the smart lock. the installation was not complicated, it is pretty much attached to the back of the lock to turn the handle. comes with different size adapters for the handle. and it is just uses the adhesive to stick to the back. calibration was easy as well, but you have to remember that your existing lock has to move smoothly otherwise it has no huge power to turn the lock. uses Bluetooth or Wi-Fi because it comes with a hub, also easy installation. software is okay sometimes a little slow. if the lock receives a firmware update then you have to recalibrate the lock. I've been using this lock for a little bit and so far so good. it is a little bulky looking on the back of a door and you got to be careful not to applying a lot of force, otherwise you can snap it because it keeps holding only on adhesives. I also bought a key pad that kind of a great addition to the lock, because different codes can be used in case you need it for the guest. it uses Bluetooth to connect to the lock but it gives you extended features. for the prices okay, I just like the fact that if it fails I still have a lock in place so I don't have to change the whole entire lock again.

The lock is a great upgrade for my apartment but I realised it will lose calibration over time and the door will think it is lock when it is actually unlock. The solution seems to re-calibrate it from time to time. Nevertheless it works as intended and its easy to install
