The DYNADISC balance cushion has become a staple in training & exercise rooms across the country. The DYNA DISC works your core muscles more completely than a gymball because it focuses on those muscles no matter what position you are in. Use it at home and then take it with you to the gym. Slip it into your suitcase when you travel so that you can have a core workout in the hotel room.

Dyna Discs Are The Best
I picked up two as I am undergoing physical therapy for a concussion and mild traumatic brain injury. My physical therapist uses these with me at the clinic all the time and they've really helped improve my balance. They're sturdy and grip both carpet and wood flooring well. Each disc came with a hand pump and were already inflated and ready to use. So no need to order a hand pump. They're a great calf muscle workout too and fun to use.

Excellent Customer Support and a Great Product
I received the first cushion from Amazon on a Saturday and knew within the first hour of use that it was not holding pressure. I asked other Amazon users if they had the same or similar deflatable experience, and five people replied. Three had no problems with their cushions. One loved the product as long as it was inflated. The fifth person was Eric Parsells of EXERTOOLS, who gave me his phone number and asked me to call him, which I did. I described my problem with the newly purchased cushion. He agreed that the valve was defective and offered to mail me a replacement Dyna Disc Balance Cushion - Royal Blue, just like the one I had ordered. I accepted his offer and it was mailed the following Monday or Tuesday. This new cushion holds the air pressure and works very well. I really appreciate Eric's quick response to my query, his excellent customer service, and this great product which I use for strength and balance exercises.

Inflation problem
When I received this product I was unable to do so. Went to return the product and was notified no return was available via Amazon and Amazon advised e to contact the manufacturer. I contacted Exertools and their Represetative Eric, walked me through the solution to the inflation problem. Basically I inserted a paperclip into the inflation bladder to open up the inflation orifice. Then inserted the pump and filled the the bladder which is self sealing. All went well and I am satisfied with the product.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
This product was missing the valve needed to inflate it (I confirmed this with my physical therapist), but IT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN! I ordered one for a friend as well; it had the exact same flaw. I want add, however, that Amazon refunded the full amount for me. So Amazon stands behind it's service!

Balance Ball for ;your Chair
I discovered this item from a fellow quilter when I saw the picture in her studio. After asking her what it was (she highly recommended it as well), I ordered one and am so happy I did--actually, I ordered a second one for work! I find two uses for this item: 1) sitting on it to help keep my posture correct and engage my core, 2) placing it upright provides additional support for my back, once again helping me to sit correctly. I had to add a bit of air upon reccipt to my first one as it was a little low, but I would highly recommend this product and have to my fellow workers. Two of them have already ordered them!

Was good for one time use
Put the needle in the second time to add air and it went right through the other end, now it has a hole, tossed it.

Arrived Defective, but "Not Returnable"
The item arrives with zero instructions. You need to pump it up with the supplied pump. I eventually found the valve hole with the help of an internet video. However, the valve proved defective. I attempted to return the item and found it was "Not Returnable". This resulted in a conversation with Amazon that worked out for me but was more hassle than this item was worth.

Inflation is not easy on these
The only real issue I have with these is they are very hard to inflate and you have to be very careful when pushing in the needle to do so. I actually pressed to hard on one and pierced the topside plastic, ruining it. I had to use a light duty electric to get the inflation I desired. The hand pump would have taken an hour probably. I ordered a 3rd disc as a replacement for the one I ruined, and the valve leaked when trying to inflate. It got to a certain partial inflation and would just leak out as you pumped. I checked with soapy suds for leaks, it was just the value and only when pushing air i. I returned it. I purchased an SPRI disc at Sports Authority to replace and it inflated very easily. I will use the ExerTools Dyna Disc I have and it is functional, but I would not purchase another one.
