Great reel once the drag is updated
I have somewhere around 12 of these reels i use for salmon fishing using copper and leadcore line something to consider is that everyone of reels will need a drag update kit,consider the new okuma Coldwater "A" model they now come with the new drags installed and the appearance has changed

Awesome Reel.
Best reel on the market. I catch giant Togue with this reel. I put almost 30 colors of Leadcore on this reel to bounce Flatfish off the bottom to catch my Trophy fish. This fish, although small by Great Lakes standards, for Sebago Lake it's a beast at 20 pounds.

Great Reel for the price.
Great reel. I own several Okuma Cold Water series's reels. Regular and low profile. It's all I run on my boat.

For the price it can't be beat!
I own a lot of different reels for saltwater fishing. We spend 8 months of the year in Baja and our reels get used and abused. I have a bunch of Avet reels for my personal stuff, but wanted some cheaper reels for when friends and family come to visit. These fit the bill! They don't backlash super easy. Also love having the counter on there, which is pretty accurate. Super easy to tell people to drop to the bottom and then come up 30 feet.

High quality
Love these reels. They feel super sturdy, look nice, and aren't overly costly for the quality product you receive. I use the 303ds for salmon fishing on lake Michigan which aren't too heavy and are super heavy duty for their size. The 153s are great for walleye trolling.

Awesome trolling reel
Great reel for trolling musky. Fast retrieving and build rock solid. Picture in the description is wrong. Photo shows the next larger size reel without a line counter. The 303DS has a line counter. This reel kicks. Just buy it.
