Definitely cheaper than buying a sewing machine with better lighting! Takes up room in the arch of the machine
As you can see, basically a ribbon of LED lights (like the ones I have under my kitchen cabinets). It comes with sticky-backed hooks that you put on your sewing machine, then direct the ribbon through. I have a small, cheap Brother sewing machine and there isn't much room in the arch, so had to get creative in how to set it up. If I'm working with a large amount of fabric, I'll probably have to remove the ribbon.The cord isn't very long, so I had to have an extension cord to connect to it (sits on the floor next to where the sewing machine is).Definitely cheaper than buying a sewing machine with better lighting!

bright light
love the light and will use somewhere but not on my sewing machine. I ordered this mainly because the bulb my machine uses is more expensive and not available as led. Doesn't quite work for me because it doesn't direct light exactly where I need it.

Lights Up Sewing Area
This lights up my sewing machine area perfectly. However, the lights keep coming off the adhesion. The adhesion stays on my sewing machine, but the lights fall off the adhesion. Not sure what the fix will be for that. Maybe super glue?

It Worked for a While!
I'm changing rating to a 1 because the friend who I bought this for gave it back to me and said it had stopped working. I had also bought one for myself a few months prior to that, and mine doesnt work any more, either. I thought they were a good buy at the time, but truthfully they are very flimsy and I'm not surprised they didn't last!! The return window has closed for both purchases, so I'm out my money on both counts.

Lights up my sewing area
This is great. The only thing that would make it better was if you could unplug the cord closer to the lights so you wouldn't have the long cord bunched up for transport.

Great for cool lighting to quilt....fits all machines.....a must have.

Easy to attach, and works great!!
This LED light set is great!! I can finally see black thread on black fabric, works wonderful, a real help with seeing my projects
