I have 2 pretty big cutting boards since I do a lot of BBQing. My wife only uses a knife to cut veggies, so she wanted something small. I have to say, the smallest board is smaller than it looks on the screen here. But it ended up being the perfect size for her. Light-weight, easy to lift, carry and clean. It's the perfect size for her and the way she cooks. And, since women need things that are both functional and "pretty", the fact that it's an attractive board is a real plus. She loves it.We've had these for a while now and they're getting pretty scratched up pretty quickly. Now, I understand that knife scratches are an indication that the board is doing what it's supposed to do, protect your knives. But these are happening very quickly and with minimum use. Also, one side they're much darker than the other side, for some reason. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if it were my board, but it's my wife's board. So it's as much a piece of décor in the kitchen as it is a cutting board.I have another board made of the same wood and while it has scratches they don't look anywhere near as pronounced as these. This wood seems and feels harder for some reason. I'll likely be replacing this board with a nice end grain cutting board for her, since they don't really show knife cuts. If you're buying a cutting board for the same reason I recommend going that route.

I’ve had and used this board for a couple months and it’s still nice. Others I bought with different dimensions didn’t hold up even after a single use.

The strokes/marks in my meat and vegetable cutting on the board were less noticeable. I think is an excellent product/buy.

Bought this to replace a small plastic cutting board I used all the time. This is beautiful, sturdy, and makes lunch prepping all the more lovely. I hand wash only. Shown with paring knife for relative size. It does have a finish of some sort, but doesn’t bother me nor impact food prep. No rough edges or signs of glued pieces.
