For ticks there are better tools
This is okay but I had one before that was much better, a different design that twisted automatically when you pushed in on it. Wish I could find one of those.This is just glorified tweezers.

Just the trick for ticks!
I actually bought this for my daughter, who has 2 dogs with short white fur. They live in the country and often take long walks in the woods. I know this will be perfect for her, as she always worries about the dogs (and herself) getting bitten by ticks. The product came quickly and looks like it will do the trick on the ticks!
