I'm sorry I went to the location and took out the corn cob light that failed and went to put your light in and it wouldn't fit in the reflector so I brought the reflectors home from both lights and improvised by cutting out part of it and I also move the socket back a little bit and now they'll fit. so I'm going to go back this week and install the reflectors then put the bulb in. and I'm going to put them in this week so but I did test the lights here in her stocking at my house and they look they look wonderfulIs the photo show one housing that has it been cut open yet in the other housing where I put your light in

Got what I ordered packed well and in a timely fashion. Was not what I expected. Must learn to read better. Can't use in Bedroom. Great for the garage and I found it better than what I normally use. Win, win. I am keeping it and ordered a more appropriate bulb.

E39 base and great LED lighting without jacking around with ballast f or 1/2 the price. This is the real deal for replacing sodium halide barn lights. Love this thing and a Super value!

I purchased 2 before Christmas, gave as a gift. I had purchase 1 at a earlier date an gave it to son-n-law, he loved it. So they had came up again, so I though it would be a great gift. Well with the cold winter and busy this spring. So this past monday(holiday), he installed one, turned on, about 3 minutes, pop-it went out, the base was hot, installed the other bulb, turned on, about 5 minutes, it popped and smoke came out of it. Waste of money, I was there an saw this happen!

I've revised this review because the seller replaced the two defectives immediately. The lights are very bright and do light up the space they were chosen for (my garage and two airplane hangars).

Just disconnect the ballast and screw in the bulb... bulb was quite a bit brighter than the metal halide... very pleased, will be getting some more of these

This light was a dud. It did not work right out of the box. Unfortunately I was away when it arrived and dud not get a chance to install it until recently. The 30 days in which I could have returned it are long gone. Buyer beware the build quality is questionable. 40 dollars plus shipping down the tubes for a single light. Very disappointed wish I could rate it zero not worth one star.
