Great blade - great job on my acrylic
had a bunch of acrylic to cut and my old laminate blade wasn't doing a good job - pretty jagged edge, rougher cut that what I would like to have, so invested in this blade. This blade cuts great, leaves a super clean edge with less finishing for me to go thru later. Overall great blade at a good price. I was cutting 1/4" and 1/2" acrylic sheets and no issues with our without the protective acrylic layers.

Great blade for plexiglass
Have tried using laminate blades in the past to cut plexi with mediocre results at best. This blade is night and day better. Used to cut a dozen 1/8” sheets down to size and also to make a small sample for the customer. The back rake on the teeth make all the difference. Extremely smooth cuts and no ‘grabbing’ like when using laminate blades. Don’t know why I didn’t buy this sooner. Worth every penny.

Does the job
I used this to cut 1/2" Lexan for some windows- overall it did a great job, I did notice it took some bites but I don't know if this was the blade or my saw (powermatic 66). Cut finish was decent, and it didn't splinter or crack at all. With the cost of lexan I thought it prudent to get an appropriate blade, this one worked well.

Are you kidding me????
I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon and rarely write reviews. I am also very very frugal, to the point where I have been asked by salesmen while vacationing in Mexico "Are you Jewish?" despite the fact that I am clearly Asian.I cut alot of plexiglass as I sell pieces as a side hobby on eBay. I cut over 500 pieces of plexiglass in the past 6 months. Naturally, because I am frugal as mentioned above, I bought the cheapest 60 tooth blades at Home Depot for my table saw and miter saw. I've been cutting and then having to sand the edges by a belt sander and then by hand because sometimes the blade takes little chunks of the edges.I decided to buy this Freud blade and after my first cut, I said out loud, "Are you kidding me?" Of course no one replied, as I was talking to myself in my garage. The cut is absolutely AMAZING on this blade! It cuts thru plexiglass like butter and leaves an incredibly smooth edge on the plexiglass. I've wasted so much time in the past sanding the edges with my other blades, I completely regret not buying this Freud blade from day 1.You get what you pay for, and this Freud blade is the best I have used.

Cuts like butter
Anything less than 80 teeth and I think you will not be happy with the results. This blade performs as advertised. Smooth cuts, no build up of plastic residue. I do recommend using a wax on the blade, I use it on all my acrylic cutting blades just in case. I think you will find this blade a good addition to your shop.

Allows smooth, effortless cuts in acrylic (plexiglass)
I have used high quality combination blades for cutting acrylic but this specialty blade makes the process so effortless and high quality!

Super smooth cuts in Acrylic and Lexan
Amazing saw blade. Cuts Plexi and Lexan with ease. Edges after cutting are super smooth and clean. Plastic does not get hot while cutting. This saw blade is worth every penny and I'm glad I bought it.
