Great purchase
We got this to look at the stars with our Granddaughters. It is great for that. The only issue we encountered was that the adaptable cell phone attachment to take pictures wasn’t working for our phones. We still use it a lot with the grandkids and they are learning a lot about the solar system.

Fun telescope
I’m impressed with this telescope and it’s easy easy to use… I’m definitely happy with it.It’s a great telescope for a beginner as it’s simple to set up and use. It’s easy to move it around when needed with a carrying pouch provided. I’ll be keeping mine displayed in my room for east access, it looks cool. The attachments are easy to switch between and I’m having fun just looking at everything. The phone attachment is nice to have and it’s easy to attach.Overall it’s a fun telescope that should last a life time with proper care.

Astronomical Telescope
The media could not be loaded. When the item arrived, I was smitten with or was most excited or even impressed with the build quality of this telescope, I opened the box. It came with multiple materials and the initial look of this item is great. It was difficult to see anything or firming to find objects with the telescope. but I saw some images and it was fun. For the price of this item, it's a fair value.

Decent intro to the hobby, but only good for moon and other large events
We have a $900 telescope that shows a lot of great things, but is so powerful that looking at the moon is painful as it's too bright. This little guy is much better for that, but no good at anything else in the night sky I'm afraid. Kids will have a lot of fun looking at the moon though, as well as things in the distance in the daytime, like the baby ducks in our local pond. For $200, you're getting a very beginner setup that doesn't necessarily disappoint, but also doesn't deliver a lot. I guess you need to ask yourself how big of a deal the moon is to your kids. You should also be warned that setup takes a long time, even just for an outdoor viewing of tree tops, so try to get it ready for the kids or they will lose interest before you finally zero in on something. It's stiff and finicky when mounting a phone.

Great all-in-one beginners telescope for kids
This 70mm Refracting Telescope is a great start telescope for kids. It is kid sized and its compact size can be packed away nicely with included bag so it doesn't take up a lot of space when not using. The build quality is good in this budget price range, but the tripod is a bit stiff to adjust and the focusing ring doesn't rotate as smoothly as better quality telescope. However, for the price and it being a beginners telescope, this is perfectly acceptable. The kit comes with everything need to get started for star watching, including a phone mount. This does require a lot of fiddling around to get the phone camera perfectly aligned with the eye piece and younger children won't be able to get this in place. I had a lot of trouble because as you start tightening the knobs, it causes the phone to shift just a bit so it loses alignment with eyepiece. It's not too bad for the K25mm eye piece, which provides 16x magnification, but nearly impossible with the K6mm (67x magnification) eye piece. When aligned, this mount makes the telescope more enjoyable to use, as you can focus easier and point out things on the phone display. Not to mention take photos with the camera app. This kit even includes a wired 3.5mm headphone jack shutter button trigger to reduce camera shake when taking photos.

Decent quality for beginners 🔭
I'm so fascinated about the stars and planets and I always wanted my own telescope, so I was super happy to see this telescope set on Amazon. However, my first experience assembling my own telescope tripod wasn't so bad, but adjusting the telescope lense to see anything was difficult. I could slightly see some objects such as traffic lights, trees and tall buildings but it was blurry. The purpose of this telescope was to see stars and the moon, but it was disappointing to see nothing but darkness. It would've been epic if I had this telescope last week to see the lunar eclipse that passed on May 15th-16th. I'll give it another try when I go camping this summer. Other than that, this tripod stand is adjustable. It includes 2 different lenses, phone holder and it even comes with a camera shutter to avoid moving the tripod while taking photos. Overall, the quality of this telescope is decent for beginners, it just takes a bit of practice to carefully adjust the angles and lenses for clear visual
