Cheater lens for your welding hood.
Now I don’t have to wear my glasses. Go up a strength if you wear the cheap cheaters. Fits great, now to order a few more. For each hood and back up if they get scratched

The only full size magnifying lens I’ve seen
It does magnify, and it’s the only one I’ve seen in this size, but it makes me see double too much. However, I’m not sure if it’s the magnifier or the hood, but there’s no tech support from the company.

Fits My YESWELDER LYG-M800H Hood with 3.94"X3.66" Window
This large magnifying lens snaps into the YESWELDER LYG-M800H helmet like they were made for each other. I took a chance because I bought the mag lens before I bought the helmet! The viewing area on the LYG-M800H is 3.94" x 3.66", if that helps. Little clips are molded in that you slip this lens under, after you put the helmet-supplied rear protector lens on the view port.The lens provides closeup sharpness over the helmet's entire viewing area. This mag lens is two lenses connected to each other, one for each eye; it's not like looking through a single Sherlock Holmes magnifying lens where you're searching for the "sweet spot" of focus.In operation when on your head, the two lenses merge into one -- you cannot see the middle seam -- much like if you're wearing reading glasses. It's just a single perfect image -- no edges, no distortion. You can focus closer. Excellent design and execution, with terrific optical clarity. Somebody really thought this through. Arrived in great condition, well-packaged.Only downside is that the lens adds some weight to the helmet, meaning you'll need to tighten the suspension to hold the helmet up. I had to fiddle with the suspension to get the helmet to ride where I wanted it, but you need to do that anyway. The YESWELDER suspension allows the helmet to ride higher or lower on your head, and also allows you to have the front closer or farther from your nose so you minimize fogging the lens in use.This, combined with a modern, bright, large auto-darkening helmet, will revolutionize my welding. I can finally work as close as I want and actually have things in focus. You under-40 guys with young eyes don't know what's ahead for your vision. This is not universal fit. I had to throw it away.
I have a fairly new Jackson welding helmet. This "universal fit" lens didn't fit.

I can see again, fit like a champ.
I saw someone install one of these in their welding helmet. My eyes have changed very very happy with the purchase. I can see what I’m welding again I’m going to add this to all of my welding helmets.
