Works Great and Easy to Install
The media could not be loaded. The fan comes pre-assembled, which is great. We put it in our barn which we use for events. The difference was immediate. The moment it came on we could feel the air start to move. Our barn is about 1600 sqft with an 18’ ceiling. Framing the hole in the roof angle was the most challenging part, and I just wired in a 14ga extension cord which works perfectly. Helpful and cheaper than a/c.

Very pleased.
I bought this fan to go into the gable end vent of my home attic. It is replacing one that had been there 30 years. I built much of the house myself so although I don't do it professionally, I know my way around construction. The fan easily fit into where the old one came out with minor modifications (to the frame not the fan). For the price I am very pleased with the construction of the fan. It is well made. Fit and finish are of good quality. I couldn't find any shoddiness anywhere. I see where some complained about the flimsiness of the louvers. By design louvers have to be light weight. I found them to be well made and heavy enough for their purpose. I actually removed them for my application. The fan moves a lot of air and is very quiet in my book. So overall I am thrilled with it. Longevity is a key issue with these fans and I can't attest to that as I just bought it and it's been running for a few weeks. Hopefully it won't disappoint. Other than that I'd buy it again in a second.

A Real Breath of Fresh Air!
My husband installed this fan in the back of an old 60 foot long barn that’s been opened infrequently over the course of five years. He ran it with the front door open to pull air through the barn. Within several hours, there was a noticeable improvement in the air quality. It will continue to be an asset as this renovation project gets underway. Additionally, he was very pleased with the ease of installation and the general sturdiness of the unit. He highly recommends this item!

Decent Fan for Attic - Noisy Fins
I bought this fan to help cool down our attic in which I put a bedroom and office. In the past I would not have been able to work in there for the majority of the day due to the heat. We installed this in an attic window that needed replacing anyway and the results are pretty good so far. I installed it on a 75-80 degree day and set the thermostat to about 87. At that setting it ran for most of the afternoon. A slight turn up to 90 would turn it off. With the other attic windows open, it was quite tolerable in the attic to work. We'll see about the heat of summer (NJ).Note, I chose to purchase a cheaper thermostat than the optional one because it was much cheaper (Ventamatic XXFIRESTAT 10-Amp).I knew there would be some noise from the fan, but I think this is a little louder than I like. During the day it is tolerable, but I think if it kicks on at night it will be too loud. It is more the fins rattling in the front (or perhaps the vertical fin supports) than the motor/fan itself. I may try to add some kind of dampener to them if I can. There is a gap around the fins that is a little larger than I like as well. We'll see if we have issues with insects getting in.

Impressive
We needed this fan to replace one that finally quit on us. This one fit the bill, being the right dimensions and not too costly. Works very well.
