Took a huge lightning hit on our telephone line. This product doesn’t look like it did well from the picture but it saved a piece of equipment that costs thousands of dollars. It did it’s job.

Unit located in a warehouse in North Florida. Has been in place for 9 years. Recently the building was directly hit by lightning. The electrical surge channelled through an electrical outlet to the TowerMax and back to the AT&T phone jacks. Electricity fried the jacks, the electrical plug and the phone wires attached to them. On the equipment side of the TowerMax, we lost 2 fuses and a minor card in the phone system. The TowerMax looked like it was heated with a blow-torch. It died to save my phone system. 9 Years after we installed it and multiple lightning storms later, we buried the old one in a dumpster and installed a new one. Don't go without one of these.

I have this installed on the demark of all our phone wiring in order to protect all of our devises at one time. I had one just like this that lighning hit by our house and it sacrificed it's self so I bet it saved some of our valuable equipment. I replaced it to be ready for the next time a surge comes through. I think this is an excellent investment.
