The remote works well with my overhead light that has its own remote. The only way to stop it, is to turn the light off at the switch. Otherwise, the light turns on every time. Not so with the player. It takes several tries to get the player to turn on with the remote. The blue tooth won’t send to ear buds or headphones. This may be my fault, but the directions are sadly lacking, so if there’s a trick, I don’t know it. I will keep it despite the fact that I intentionally bought one with blue tooth capability. If I buy another one it will be a brick and mortar store so I have a poor clerk I can harass to show me what I’m doing wrong.UPDATE - OPERATOR ERROR! I don't know what I did wrong the first time I tried to use the remote, but the next day it worked perfectly. I haven't had a chance to retry the blue tooth - but I have a feeling it will work now as well.
