These containers are excellent and yes you can use them for gasoline. They are much more durable than the thin walled gas cans used for the lawnmower. They carry almost 6 gallons of fuel get a few and used them for your boat/jetski/motorcycle, etc. they are durable and secure. Couple it with a siphon hose they work like a charm.

Guess I didn't read the description, it won't work as gas dispensary can as is. Needs hose that's sold separately.

The vent is quite a problem to an otherwise good jug and caps. It is located in the place it shouldn't be when pouring. See the photo as this is a good fix.

The maker normally tells you in details what the product can and can’t do. They did tell me it was not for gasoline ! I wouldn’t have ordered if I had read this. Now I’m returning it and it’s my time and my fault. The product is perfect to hold liquids not gasoline.
