I got this journal to accompany my journey on a 90 day alcohol recovery program and it works so well with quick daily reflections. It works great for me because the daily reflection section keeps time from 6am-9pm, so if you are a night owl it may not work for you but I keep the hours of 5am-8pm so it really worked great for my daily reflections. The paper is thick so I can use my favorite markers to write and there is no bleed through. I usually prefer spiral bound but the binding is such high quality I haven't had any problems with it so far. It's affordable and stylish. I love that the cover is discrete and doesn't scream from the rooftop IM TRYING TO GET SOBER!! The stickers are cute and modern. The journal space lasts for 6 months. It's really well laid out. I'll be using this well after my 90 day program ends.

This is an amazing book! It really has it all! Now if it could just play my Demi L song , dancin w/ the devil it would be complete for me ;). I love the stickers, the sober calendar and reflections. This really helps me to not only be proud of myself but helps me with goals and boundaries!! I def recommend

This is an excellent gift if you have someone in your life going through recovery, especially if they aren't big already on journaling, as the pre-outlined calendars and prompts give the writer somewhere to start. The book itself is sturdy and beautiful, and the cover is very discreet. The person I gave it to loves it has been using it daily ever since

This journal is a great start so I think it's kind of tricky to review. It's a very personal journey with recovery. Again, great place to start and it's durable.

I got this for my boyfriend. He recently confided in me and told me about struggling with alcohol, and he was scared because when he tried to stop he got shaky and felt very sick, he did not realize he was drinking THAT much. He is really trying, but has no guidance and keeps his issues to himself. I wanted to be there for him but not force him to talk to me about any of it. He is not comfortable seeking counseling for depression and alcohol use at this point, and with this it's all up to him and he doesn't have to tell everyone he is struggling with addiction. I'm not the best advice giver, but I absolutely adore him, so when I saw this I was so excited. I mailed it to him in a new box with a note so I didn't have to make it weird and give it in person. I'm really excited because this gives him goals to reach and a way to physically see the progress he is making.
