They work
Just a bigger version of the 6 channel essentially, giving you 4 more channels to play with.The biggest limitation isn't the Rx but the transmitter, because two channels are on "variable" knobs. While occasionally useful, it makes your last two channels harder to implement effectively. You have to get a little more creative.
