05B 0.5W FM Transmitter, Mini Radio Stereo Station PLL LCD with 3.5mm Audio Cable, for Drive-in Church Service Supermarket School, Black

I have tried every setting I know to do with this unit, trying to get the distortion out of the audio. I tried various output / input combinations from my Sangean wi-fi radio, but the music is still distorted. I have not tried inputting audio from other devices, so the final rating of this transmitter remains to be established. An observation I made during my experimenting is that voice audio seems to sound undistorted! This could indicate a bandwidth problem, but that too remains to be established. In all fairness, I will update this review when further information becomes known to me. Lowering the output power makes no difference in the audio distortion by the way. As for easy to use, the directions are written terribly, with sentences making no sense as they are written. The reader can however deduce what the intent of those sentences is. Having to hold the on/off button while inserting the power plug in order to set the unit's options is very clumsy at best. I can only assume that this method allows for the unit to have less electronics and so it can sell more economically. The unit's transmit range seems to be quite good, and I wanted to give it that positive feedback. More to come.

This transmitter well easy to use, should only be handled by people who know what they’re doing with radio, and other RF equipment.

It worked great for the first month and now all it knows how to do is hum. I was thinking because I was listening to close it was causing it, but nope! It just hums. Disheartening as I was going to use it for my Christmas light display as well. Ho hum…

Bought this to replace a $6 transmitter that is common here. The sound quality is horrid for audio and lots of static even on high mode. The $6 unit way outperforms it

Very easy to use with good transmission to all the radios on my property. I use it to transmit the music on my computer.
