The media could not be loaded. Holds my 2lb 10.6oz cleaver without a thought. I have to give it a bit of a twist to remove it easily, so it’s not going anywhere. Very grippy bottom pads. Very stable - it’s not going to topple over with heavy knives or make you use two hands to remove a knife. I added a video to show exactly where the magnets are, since they are not where the diagram indicates. The magnet placement is not a problem, but I’m sure someone wants to know. The wood is beautiful and shows no signs of poor construction. It’s a bit smaller than my other magnetic block, but holds the knives I intended for it. Performs the intended use perfectly. An excellent value for the money. Measure your knives laid out on the counter to assess your spatial needs before you order if you have more than a few knives.

This is both beautiful and functional. I have some Shun knives that I get professionally sharpened and I was disappointed they weren’t holding their edges well. I told the gal I kept them in a knife holder in a drawer. That was the problem. She recommended a magnetic knife holder. Turns out knife blocks aren’t so great either.I don’t really have room to hang one on the wall so I was excited to see this. I like the narrow footprint, and it holds knives on both sides. My honing tool also sticks to it. The attractiveness is a bonus, it really does look nice. A little shorter than I expected, but does the trick even with my 12” chef knife. Very sturdy, good quality. Just had my kitchen redone, happy to have it in there.

I loved this so much and it’s so beautiful as well as functional. Heavy and well made. It does take up quite a bit of counter space.

Wanted to fully love this product, came out of the box in one piece, so easy setup. I put my knives on, no issues. However unless is backed into a wall is gonna wobble back and forth during knife placement/removal. Overall, when you twist to remove the knife it still wobbles forward someone that doesn't know the proper instructions how to remove the knives would find this problematic (could potentially fall forward) -- bright side the magnets are very strong, front and back (I would consider half strength, not recommend to use for knives) I put other misc items like scissors, to balance it out)

This looks good and holds knifes well. It seems sturdy and I can grab the knives and twist them off pretty easy. It seems very stable. The knife only contacts wood and is not clanging against metal like other knife holders.

I do not like knife blocks, I find them ugly and awkward to have around the kitchen because they are bulky and get in the way while I cook. I thought about getting a wall mounted knife bar, but I’m not very handy and didn’t feel confident I could install one that would be sturdy. This is a great in between option. You open the box and plop it on the counter, so there are no installation issues. It is beautiful and takes up little space, so it is both aesthetically pleasing and doesn’t lead to clutter. The magnet is very strong and easily holds many knives in place, yet it is easy to just grab a particular knife by the handle and dismount it when needed. My collection of chef knives looks great with it.

***Update 9/30/22***Final update. Seller insisted on sending a 2nd replacement unit after the 1st replacement was stolen. Happy to report that this one is vertical and excellent quality. Seller went far above and beyond in helping me out, way more than necessary. Fully 5 stars for both customer service and product, highly recommend!***Update 9/26/22***Received seller's replacement unit; however, someone opened the Amazon box and stole the knife-holder box before I could retrieve the package. Not the seller's fault. Rating bumped up to 4 stars for great customer service.***Update 9/21/22***When contacted, the seller was apologetic and immediately offered to ship a replacement stand. I'll update when received.***Original 9/20/22***We were looking for an alternative to a wall-mounted magnetic strip and found this product. The design and execution are fantastic... the wood and base are beautiful, the magnets are strong enough but not too strong, and the non-slip pads on the base of the stand are fantastic and absolutely prevent slipping. Also, zero assembly required - it arrives ready to use. HOWEVER, as other reviews have noted, the base isn't at a 90 degree angle, and instead leans forward maybe 15 degrees. It's still usable but looks funny and doesn't match the product photos. We messaged the seller for a replacement and will update after resolution.

I just love this knife caddy holder. I bought it because our daughter has one. I consider it a piece of art beautiful but also useful.

We chose this design as it is very simple and attractive, the wood and steel compliment each other.The magnetic is great holds the knives in place and very easy to remove and replace.Looks stunningWe encountered a problem with our stand however the seller has been superb and agreed to replace the block, very friendly and very easy to communicate with, 5*’s all round👍🏻

I've had knife holders over the years, of all designs, and each has lacked in some aspect (functionality, aesthetic...). This looks good, and works well, and takes up little space. Really excellent
