I am very happy with this leash. It is nice and sturdy and has the appearance / weight of a good quality leash. One warning, though . . . If you are not used to a 30’ leash, especially with a large, energetic dog . . . You could trip yourself up. This happened to me, and I fell so quickly I didn’t know what hit me. Anyway, this has nothing to do with the quality of the leash, but just a warning to be careful where this leash is at, at all times 😊

The media could not be loaded.  My dalmatian pup loves this 30 foot lead. I use it when I go out to the farm to keep her not running into the horses penned in fence area. You just attach it around your waist and take it from there. I do wish it came with some sort of hook or something you could attach to your belt to carry the extra cord when pulling them in. So now it’s filthy. I’m hoping it can handle the wash.

I take my husky on walks with this and once we get to the canyon near my house i let him have the whole link to explore while we walk! he loves it and I love it because every extendable leash on amazon he has broken(tried 7 different ones that said up for 300lb dogs... but cant hold up to my 60 lb husky) within a few months.i will say you will need to clean the leash every few weeks of it will start to smell .. most likely like dog piss... on a sunny day, I just put 2 table spoons of dawn dish soap in a bucket with about 80 oz. of hot water and then swirl it around for a few minutes to work it in, then immediately squeeze it out and ang it along the fence to dry(about 4 hours in sun) ..... it comes out smelling good, and clean..

I am ordering my third one of these. They are the best. I’ve tried many others and they do not hold up. This one can clip around your waist too which is nice! I often walk 3 dogs at a time and these leads are high quality and easy to use and hang onto!

You have a 110 pound malamute that loves to go on walks. Having a short lease is great around town. But take him to a field or a park where he can explore a little and you need to give him extra length. I searched for a great leash and was very happy to have found this one.It is sturdy, very sturdy. The clips are nice and feel well made. The weight of the leash is nice not too heavy definitely not light.There is a looped handle at one end. It also has a clip in cade you want to jog and be hands free. although its a little too long to do so in an urban environment.You can use it to clip around a sturdy post or tree for localized rest and play.Over all a very good investment if you are active with your dog.

Great leash to allow our dog to run in open spaces with some control. It does give a mean rope burn if you are holding it and your dog takes off, I've learned how to hold it differently. We have used this at the beach, at big parks and open fields. It does stink very badly after it gets wet, like the outer part gets moldy as it dries. This leash gives a good workout for your dog, it is fairly heavy to drag but our dog loves seeing it come out as she knows she gets to smell and explore to her heart's content.
