It's pale yellow, not gold.

It's not gold.
It says gold but it's a very pale yellow. Was incredibly disappointed and so was the person i got it for. They ended up just wearing an old black bow tie. I felt terrible

Just scraps
There were only fabric scraps in a cellophane bag. Nothing resembling a bowtie. There was nothing that could have tied around the neck either. Thankfully I had ordered another bowtie from another company so my son had options.

I was having trouble finding a gold bowtie at stores that I liked. And I resorted to buying this one. At first, I was skeptical of the quality due to its cheap price and since I was attending a fancy event. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bow tie. It was perfect! WE had a Golden Anniversary and our kids told us to wear something gold. This looked great with a white shirt. AND to our surprise our 11 year old grandson had a matching one. Perfect for all occasions!
