Very good quality
These are a perfect fit for the Model Y and have greatly reduced the amount of schmutz getting into the sills around the car. The trick for adhesion seems to be a very clean surface to begin with and patience fitting the seals.

Cabin silence
Installing secondary door seal’s definitely reduces cabin noise

Lack of instructions causes major issues
The major issue with this product is the total lack of instructions. As a result, I installed the front door seals the wrong way around, and as the glue won't reseal, the product is now a complete waste of money for me.In addition, the boot won't close with the seal installed, so I had to remove it.Whilst, although the seals are pre-cut, they are not the exact size so it's necessary to trim them, which again leads me to wonder whether I've installed them correctly.I bought this brand owing to the positive reviews, but I now wish I'd saved my money and gone for a much cheaper generic one.UPDATE:After a couple of weeks use, several of the seals have started to come loose. This is despite cleaning thoroughly before application and using the adhesive promoter. I'm therefore returning the item to Amazon.

Not impressive
The adhesive is very poor as it doesn’t really sticky to the door, I had to used additional tape. The instructions is not very clear.

They really do make a difference!
I fitted these door seals and there is definitely a noticeable difference in cabin noise, which has almost certainly reduced. Fitting them was relatively easy, and took about 3/4 hour. They also help with preventing the inner door sills from getting quite so dirty, which is an added bonus! I would definitely recommend these seals as for me they perform at least as well as expected.

major security issue! Be warned!
I've had these on the car for 8 months. Firstly, they make a small but noticeable difference to road noise. They're not fun to put on as they're pretty fiddly. I watched a couple of YouTube vids to help me with this. There's one really good side effect of these that I like - the door paintwork between the seal and the interior stays really clean. That's a bonus. However, there are two problems that fundamentally undermine this product. The first is a major one and could result in your car being broken into or stolen: the boot does not fully shut when the seal is applied unless you really slam it hard. On more than one occasion we returned to the car to find it wasn't locked and it turned out that the boot was open although it looked shut. In the end, we had to remove the boot seal to stop this happening. I left it there for three months and it didn't flex at all to allow the boot to shut as normal. Big problem.Secondly, and an issue which is just annoying and can hopefuly be worked around, after 8 months, I've just discovered that the adhesive is starting to fail. I'll need to source something to reattach parts of the seals that are starting to disconnect. I've got some extra packets which I kept from the original install to tide me over before I can find something, but this really shouldn't be happening either.FWIW, I'd not bother with these seals. They make a minor difference but don't look like being a long-term solution unless you can find something to keep the seals on permanently.

Excellent
Excellent product. Fitted perfectly and has really made a difference to the car's interior noise levels. I also received seals for the boot and the bonnet which was a bonus I wasn't expecting.

Works well, for a short period of time.
Installs easily, no problems with instructions. When installed, there is a noticeable difference. However after a few weeks, the seals start to come loose from the car, which results in bits of seal hanging under the door. It’s good, but the glue is sub-optimal.

Surface prep is key and watch the installation video. 3 -6 db decrease in noise
This works great. I measured a 3 - 6 db decrease in road noise. Humans notice a 3 db change and I can tell you my model Y is noticeably quieter. I read a bunch of reviews on a number of products and felt this was the most reliable one. So far I am quite pleased.Key things to note:Surface preparation is key. Make sure you clean the surface, wipe it dry then liberally apply the 'adhesion promotor" let it dry then carefully apply the rubber. Practice first so you know where the rubber starts and stops. I cleaned my door jambs with windex, let it dry, wiped again with a dry cloth, applied the "adhesion promotor', let it dry 5 minutes then stuck on the rubber. I closed the doors / lids and let it sit overnight to put pressure on the adhesive - works great. In fact the factory gasket was coming off - so I used rubber cement to stick that back on. (apply rubber cement on both the metal door and the gasket, let them both dry for 10 minutes (don't stick them together until dry), then stick the gasket on the door)Watch the video - notice where the rubber starts and stops - they are very good at pointing this out in the video. Watch it a few times. I did find some slight differences in what I received and what the video shows- especially for the frunk. The material was longer so I had to start higher under the frunk than shown. Just lay the rubber out first and you will be able to tell. All of these kits seem expensive for what you get - rubber gasket with adhesive. But they are cut to the right length, well labeled and fits well.

Very bad adhesion
Do not buy this. Rubbers came loose already after one month of usage !

Fungerar okej
Den är helt okej, det saknas dock lister mellan dörrarna så det är ju inte ett komplett skydd mot smuts eller oljud. Listen bak på bakluckan är lite för tjock så bakluckan stängs lite dåligt.

It makes a difference
Two week-owner of a Model Y. I commute more than 80 miles round-trip in the Austin area over LOUSY and GREAT paved roads, with the fabulous hill country terrain integral to the drive. My prior car had similar gaskets that allowed a lot of the inside of the doors and the sills and the jams to get dirty when infrequently, we had turd-floater rains and dirt built up on the white paint interior/exterior. Inevitably I would get the dirt on my pants as I got out of the car and brushed against that "interior" painted metal that was exterior of the gaskets. So I bought this kit simply to keep the filth away. After a few days of commuting with it all installed, I am convinced that the ride has gone up a star or two in terms of "Lexus-quiet", regardless of the road surface. We've also had a lot of rain in these days, and the bare painted metal of the sill and the jam and the door remain CLEAN. Double-bonus. Cons: The video of "how-to" is borderline pathetic and amateurish. Fortunately there are a number of videos from competitors, so you can get a good idea of which end goes up on the A pillar, how to apply the product around the frunk and the rear liftgate, etc. They supply MORE than is needed so I was left with kinda wishing I could figure out extra locations to apply the gasketing. So if you follow the videos' overall instructions, use dishwashing soapy warm water to clean all surfaces, wipe dry with microfiber or regular towels until they come away CLEAN, then especially use up the 3M prep primer packets to prep the adhesive destination surface, you will get a good install. Do not stretch the gasket as you press it on, and work in 3 to 5 inch lengths. Get down on the ground for the lowest parts of the door, keep to the best angles possible. Compress the gasket into the adhesive layer frequently as you move along. When you cut, use either an X-acto knife or a single-edge NEW blade to end the gasket, long enough to tuck under the existing molding of the doors. Don't cut against the metal of the door as shown in some videos, that will gift you with corrosion points in a few years. Also, be sure to cut channels in the doors' lower gaskets for the drains so you don't cause water backup/corrosion. If you install it all right you will find you have a much quieter interior, and cleaner pants (and I would hazard to guess, dresses) as you get out of the vehicle. I'd buy this particular package again ahead of all the other videos' products I watched simply because of their generosity in materials and 3M surface prep packets. Shame it is all installed, because if I had another Tesla Model Y and needed to do this again, I would/could surely video a far better video than any of the videos I watched did. :)
