Lesson Plan and Record Book

It's hard to find a book that is both a lesson planner and grade book. This fits the bill. While we use grading software where I teach, I still often find it easier to look something up in my old-fashioned grade book. It does have a feeling of being cramped, so I do wish for more room in multiple areas, but that being said, there is plenty of room for at least 5 classes of 35+ students. The closeness of everything together allows for little forgiveness of errors, but while a nuisance and sometimes seemingly impossible, it IS possible to correct errors, and I speak from personal experience - and lots of it. Except for the lack of room (in the grading area only; other areas are fine), I find this book to be quite useful and practical. I will probably order another or a similar one next year.

It's my first year homeschooling, so my first lesson plan book, but I think this one is set up really well. There are enough pages for over 180 days (school requirement in NC) of plans: Monday-Friday; and for grading over 180 days. I just wish on the grading pages they gave you more lines to write assignments or added extra pages. There is room for 10 weeks on each set of double pages for grades but only room for 36 assignments. Otherwise, great book. Wish they had other ones so I can use a different one for each school year.

My writing is rather large and I had to scale it down a bit to make it fit. I would've have given it 5 stars if the blocks were a little bigger.

I prefer the dates down the left column. It would have helped to be able to see the inside pages prior to purchase. The cover is adorable, but the rest didn't work for me.

The contents of the book are helpful but it arrived already damaged- with a large bend in the front cover and tear.
