Great Lantern!
I purchased this lantern for using it at home. The lamp is powerful (1150 lumens maximum). It is brighter than a Hue lamp (806 lumens). You can hang it or put it everywhere you need. There is no user manual. So I will explain how it works. But it is simple as a pie.First of all, for charging it you have to plug it with the micro-usb cable (included in the box). You can plug the USB everywhere a laptop, a wall charger or even a powerbank. It is fully charged when the power button turns to green. The power button will turn red when power is low.Secondly, to power on/off, you have to push the big button in the middle of the lamp. There are 4 lamp modes. There are two cool white (very powerful or powerful), a warm white (night light) and a blinking mode. The lantern is dimmable. To use it you have to push the power button during few seconds.Thirdly, you can use this lantern as a powerbank to charge an electronic device (headphone, smartphone…).Fourthly, the lantern itself is robust that is to say shockproof and weatherproof (IPX4). IPX4 means that the lantern is protected against water spilling (for instance intense rain). Nevertheless, it is NOT waterproof! For the price it is a very good product, I recommend it!

Charging
It's as good as all the other reviews say, but nowhere does it state how long it takes to charge from empty. It takes between 5 and 6 hours....... So now we know. Hope this little piece of info was helpful.

Beautiful light and quite a small lantern
I have now both one these two different lights. Both give off a powerful light on full power. This one is even more powerful and you have a choice of a clean blueish tinge light or a warm light. This swing it for me due to the warm light as well. I use both lamps as a replacement for mains lights, here in UK energy price have gone throw the roof. I charge these both lamps up with a powerbank which also gets charged up via a portable solar panel 30wUpdate I like this light so much I got another one. Also posted pictures showing out of box will update later pictures of the light on

Excellent product
I bought this lamp to use in the greenhouse as it starts to get dark early and it can be quite hard to see what you're doing. I also need to go down to the greenhouse sometimes when it's pitch black when I've forgotten something, and a normal torch just didn't cut it. This is perfect. It's extremely bright, but also has a more normal setting which is great for when it's dusk, but I've also found it really useful for walking up the garden in the dark, and I've even left it in the garden to do a few last minute jobs when it's completely dark and it lights the whole place up. It's very lightweight and easy to charge, I love the fact it doesn't need batteries. Very pleased with my purchase and am mulling over getting a second.

Very effective and clear light, but concerns of battery life and charging.
As a light its actually very good, it has a good even distribution, whilst still being quite bright for a battery powered lamp. It can be used with or wihtout the shade, and can be hung upright or from the base (when used without the shade as a down lighter). Its not heavy either, quite light actually. It has both warm and cool elements so can do warm light (not the brightest) cool light (brighter) or a mix (brightest overall as all elements are working)The power bank is usefull.I am not a fan of the single button interface. I really HATE products that try to cram as many functions into as few buttons as possible using a combo of long and short presses to access them. this one uses the followingWhen off a short press will cycle the following:on-cool -> on-warm -> on-mix -> flash - mix -> offafter being on for a couple of seconds, pressing the switch will turn of the light no matter what mode it is in.Pressing and holding the button will cycle the brightness from low to high then back to low.It would have been much better to have seperate buttons for brightness, or even havign a dial which you push to turn on and change modes and rotate for brightness if there is a particular style ethic to be achieved, but this single button is just frustrating. Also i dont think the built in battery has a high capacity as on full brightness it does not stay on for more than about 4 hours (the 10 hours are for much lower brightness levels). For sure its very light in weight but thats the compromise, lower capacity batteries. Also it takes a long time to charge. Easily over 4 or 5 hours when flat, which is extremely annoying, and this is with a 2.1amp charger (I think it doesnt draw even half that much current to charge). I think in hindsight this coudl have been shipped with a large capacity battery whilst still keeping the weight acceptable, and maybe a faster charging circuit, or maybe even had removable 18650 cells that can be replaced and charged seperately, as well as spares kept.
