This was perfect to stop my Mini Schnauzer from digging and escaping under the fence. Where the fence is solid wood, I stapled it a few inches up and let the majority of it trail on the ground inside the fence line. The back fence is chain link so this was easily attached with zip ties. Hog rings work for chain link fences, too. I will weigh the trailing edge down by anchoring the wire with cinder blocks every few feet, but if you have lawn by your fence, the lawn will eventually knit it down. This makes the yard escape-proof. The snips are tiny, but they do the job. I was able to cut out an area to scoot around a plant that was in the way. So yeah, even though it was a bit pricey, I'm quite happy with this purchase.
