Military Logistics Made Easy: Concept, Theory, and Execution

I read this book hoping to gain some insight into logistical functions in general and military logistics in particular.I was disappointed.The book is probably fine if you work in the logistics function of the U.S. army and want a reference for different procedures, but it provided very little useful information for the rest of us.There were one or two insights (such as having to operate between different battle rhythms up and down the chain of command), but the bulk of the book was extremely dry and repetitive. It gives neither an insight into the practice of logistics nor actionable information for the vast majority of readers.
