Good riddance.
We couldn't get it to work. The batteries don't touch properly in it. But the whole design was so awkward, we aren't going to exchange it for a functional one; we're just returning it. Good riddance.

Wish it would have worked
This can opener does not work on the can food I have at home. Three of us tryed but it would not work. We ended up throwing if out. I'll give it one star because it was cute.

quit working after opening less than 10 cans does not grip lip of can tight enough to rotate can . makes a clicking noise like it is skipping gears.

I couldn't get it to work at all!
Sorry, it looks great but we couldn't get it to open one can. Tried several and it failed to dig in with the bladeand just wouldn't do anything.

I retured it as it will not work with modern ...
I retured it as it will not work with modern batteries. The plastic slots in the battery holder does not allow modern style batteries to touch each other so it doesn't work. It might work if you have the old batteries with the longer positive contacts.
