A handy reference if you like physical copies
A handy reference. Makes people think I'm handing out communist propoganda until they take a closer look. A good little red book with plenty of handy info, but has led to some funny midunderstandings due to the design

Interesting commands and file location.
I like this book short and to the point, I learned some new commands and file paths for Windows. Caveat, research what the commands are if you dont know. I got flagged as a malicious user running dsquery commands on my pc, I didnt realize it was querying the DC, until I read more into it. Kind of amazed at the amount of information you can get from a un-elevated cmd prompt, but good to know IDS/IPS still pick up on that traffic.

Great read for red AND blue!
I have the first version of RTFM, and I like this much more. The format makes it much easier to read, and I appreciate everything the authors did to organize the content. This is a great resource for anyone in a red team role, but it’s equally as good—if not better—for folks on the blue side to use as a reference guide for detection engineering. 10/10, would recommend!

A former co-worker told me about this
This book was recommended to me by a former coworker. It is the ultimate "cheat sheet" for Windows powershell/command line users, Linux Bash shell users, and MacBook Pro Terminal users by informing readers on those commands that are most useful when using the command line/shell commands.

Better than the original
Obviously, you get a reference manual for reference. Old one was good, but a slog to find anything. V2 has a much better table of contents and index, which makes a huge difference.I got the book on Kindle and paperback because there are different conveniences to both.

Great info at the hip
From reconnaissance to exploitation there's a lot in here that's valuable for computer people of any level. Give it a read or a skim at least.
