With the llamas and the unicorns, each animal in your stable is precious and Each animal comes with special abilities that You have to wield and remember. Sheep in disguise is much simpler! Sheep are just sheep. There are plenty of sheep. The whole game, you really feel like you have a chance to win. It is not devastating to have a whole flock stolen. And the game is much faster. Sheep is much easier for newer players, and including friends who haven’t played before. Still lots of cool cards that let you steal and go through discard pile, etc…

10/10 all around. The art, the captions, the gameplay. It's like unstable unicorns and exploding kittens had a baby. Rules are clear and thorough (which is uncommon in a lot of games imo). It's simple enough, but can get REALLY intense, especially when someone is on their last flock. The first night my friends picked it up really quick and we played for hours, but I forgot to bring it over to their place the other night and they literally made me go back home and get it. If you are looking for a new party game that will get your whole crew shouting and laughing, this is it!

Our 20 year old nephew came up to visit me and my husband and I bought this game specifically for us to play at the cabin. It was a HUGE hit! We probably played it easily 8 times over the weekend and my nephew loved it. The instructions were an easy read - we kept them handy when we played because there were a few times where we thought "huh... in this situation, what do we do next?" But overall, it was easy to play and the longer you played, the more you understood how intricate you could make your strategy if you wanted to. I would recommend it both as any easy to learn, quick game to try with a new group AND as one your family and friends can play long term - getting more and more skilled at playing certain cards together to get a really clever result. Also, and this is KEY for me, this game takes about 30 minutes. I can't stand games that you are still playing 6 hours later. This is not that! =)
