Hinged Access Panel for Plumbing/Wiring Applications (14" X 14")

Definitely a good value, very sturdy and easy to install.

I ordered the 14" x 14" size. !4x14 is the size of the hole in the wall it fits into, but the frame extends to about 16"x16", a little bigger than expected. With a 14x14 hole in the sheetrock cut with a sheetrock saw, the door pushed right in. (I drilled holes to secure it, although this might not be necessary.) The hinged door fits snugly, but opens easily with a flat head screwdriver. The door bulges out just slightly and doesn't lie quite flat, but hides nicely behind our bathroom mirror. It extends only about 1/8" out from the wall. The surface is textured and took an even coat of oil based paint. If you don't mind plastic and will hide it behind a painting, etc, anyway, it's a great product for the price. It will allow us to access to plumbing, and will keep us from having to repair sheetrock and then cut back into it next time we need to access the pipes.

Arrived broken in half. Cheap plastic. Absolutely worthless.

Simple panel cover that worked perfectly. The hole in my drywall was bigger than would allow for just "pushing" this into place, so I drilled for holes and mounted with screws/anchors.

cheap , small and weak

Fair Price. Fast shipping!

Pro: Easy to install. Blends in well.Con: A little difficult to open. Would be okay for occasional access, but I need to be able to open often. Need something handy to pop it open and hinge is a bit stiff.
