We bought a 4 pack. These are SO easy to install/put up. The powerful stickers on each side, combined with a magnetic piece makes so much sense and gives flexibility as to where you can mount the detector. White as white (not off white or beige) was exactly what we wanted. They are small. Batteries all worked fine and the unit itself is simple/nondescript, so it blends in. Very loud. Totally would be these again!

Maybe I got someone else's order or I got a free upgrade. These 8 units are a very good value. batteries incl. Small size, very easy to install with 3M self stick, metal plates with magnets, or typical grommets. I used the self stick and I was off to the next hunnydo in 15 minutes. I'm impressed. mounting hardware was stupid easy.

These are much smaller than typical smoke alarms, very loud, the only reason for the -1 star, all the included batteries were dead on arrival

I installed 5 of these yesterday following the instructions and doing the test beep. Today we were cutting floor trim in one of the rooms with this product. A chop saw will create dust and smoke. This detector 3 feet away did nothing, nor did the other 3 nearby in other bedrooms. HOWEVER I did not throw away my old smoke detector that was sitting rooms away and guess what! It went off! So these are a faulty product that do not detect smoke in the same room. BEWARE! These will not save you in a fire. Terrible product the manufacturer should be ashamed for selling a faulty safety product.

These little things work and install so easily as well as easy to change batteries when necessary. Loud when they need to be but small enough to stay out of sight. Very good product.
