Works great
These are so cool I wish these were around in the 80s would have made my job a whole lot easier. The did a perfect job every time with no leaks. Real easy to use.

I bought this just to see if it worked as well as the name brand expensive one & it does. If you switched them I wouldn't know the difference. Even if they failed after 10 uses which they haven't, they are still well worth the money. Ordering 2 more at this price just in case I lose or break them.

Worked but got 2 same size
Worked well with no leaks on a mini split installed . I did get (2) 1/4 flare instead of a 3/8 unfortunately though .

Faster Than Clamp Flarers
These are easy to use, but the 1/4” can be wobbly if you use it in a non-chucked tool like a 1/4” impact driver. Use a hand drill. Ultimately they work well and are a lot faster than the clamp type of flaring tool and consistently good flares are possible.

Does not work on type-K copper pipe
These do not work on type-K copper pipe. Also the 3/4" head appears to be for pipes with an outer diameter of 3/4", not an inner diameter of 3/4".

It works.
I was skeptical that this would work, but after fighting my old school flare kit I bought this to try something new and was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked.

THESE DON"T WORK
These don't work. Tried them on both 1/4" copper and 3/8" copper and the swaged end is NOT big enough to be the female end of a joint. Tried them several times at several speeds and angles.

Made a good flare fitting
I used the spin flaring tool on a 1/2" copper line to hook up an oil supply line for my oil burner. I only used it once but it was simple and easy and made a proper flare. I can't comment as to the longevity of the tool but it worked great the one time I used it.
