They do the job of taking any swelling down!
These are exactly what the hospital gave me to wear and take home. I thought I would have trouble getting on, but no trouble at all. And, there is no pain below my knees like some support hose give you. Very comfortable like I donate them on. No exaggerations!!

COVIDIEN T.E.D. STOCKINGS ARE THE BEST!
After being discharged from hospital after knee revision surgery, my post-op instructions were to continue to wear the T.E.D. anti-embolism stockings placed on me prior to surgery - on both legs for 2 weeks, then on the operative leg for 2 more weeks - 24/7. Well, thatโs kinda difficult with only one pair! So I ordered these immediately upon discharge to be delivered the next day. They arrived on time so that I could remove the hospital-issued pair. The following day I washed both pair at the same time. I could not believe how badly the hospital pair unraveled, with stringy threads wrapped around the entire small load of white socks & underclothes. Over the next week, this pair held up through repeated wearing and washings. The hospital ones have practically disintegrated. I ordered a second pair to get me through the last 2 weeks. This is my second purchase of these stockings in a week. I have had several knee surgeries over the past 15 years. With full knee replacements, I was issued thigh length COVIDIEN brand stockings. I still use them whenever I travel by airplane. They have remained in good condition over the years. Accordingly, I would strongly definitely recommend these T.E.D. Anti-Embolism Stockings, sold by Kendall, manufactured by Covidien. My recent pair from the hospital are not Covidien like all of my others and it was evident after 3 days wearing in bed and just 1 wash.

No size choice
I needed this after knee replacement surgery. I was disappointed to NOT find a choice for size, only saw LARGE. It was too big and I have to roll down the top and cut off the toe. I ordered a second pair, thinking I may have erred. Still the same. Will be returning those.

Just like what I was sent home from the hospital with
Fit my size 14 feet OK. They're a pain to get on/off, but that seems inevitable (especially with feet my size).

Needs toes.
The holes in the toes make them hard to fit properly. Still good quality. Iโd try to find some with toes.

Easy to put on, supportive without cutting off circulation
I bought these for long flights and long days walking around. These are the 3rd pair I bought - the first 2 wouldn't fit over my thick calves. These were no problem to get on, or to keep on for that matter. If you don't care about a cute design, these are a good price and a good fit.

Should have been my first purchase for compression socks!!
Absolute best compression sock that has the right amount of graduation and pressure in different areas of the sock. I tried at least 5 other brands and these are perfect. I use them with shoes by tucking the open-toe part under my toes. I have flown in them and they worked the way I needed to prevent more swelling. I stayed away from the medical ones for every day use, but wish I had purchased these at the beginning of my injury. Of all the kinds I tried, they're the most comfortable.
