I have several ocarinas so why this one?Because it has an unusual “ocarina” shape was very well described and plays beautifully. I have, since purchased, have purchased another one of these ocarinas just in case I break the original and can’t find this ocarina. So simple to play a 3 year old could play it. 😊✌️🌵

I'm a musician, so I like to get all kinds of different instruments in my collection. I have all kinds of stuff from guitars, synthesizers to jaw harps and tongue drums. I love all the different tones and unique sounds that each instrument makes. This ocarina is a little bit different than the 12 hole ones I've seen. This is a 6 hole ocarina, so you're not going to get as many tones or keys out of it, but, in return, it's easier to play.This is great for beginners, especially, since it's a scaled down version of the 12 hole. It still has great sounds and tones even without the extra holes. I don't know about you, but I don't have 12 fingers to play that. Kidding. It may sound different than traditional chromatic scaled instruments. That's what gives it its unique sound.This would make a good gift for a child or even an adult. My favorite thing about it is that I can make it sound like owl hoots. I haven't taken it out to see if any owls congregate, but I might try it. I think the craftsmanship is good too. The glaze is great looking. The shape is comfortable in the hands and nice looking too. I think this will be in my collection for a long time. Glad to score one of these.

I am pleased with this Deekec Ocarina 6 Hole Ice Crack Triforce Ocarina. The turquoise crackle finish reminds me of a desert retreat. The music sounds good to me. It has been fun to learn to play this Ocarina.

Seemingly good quality ceramic with a protective clear coating. It comes with a carry bag and includes instructions to play basic songs.

This is the first time I've played an ocarina, though I have played woodwinds for years in the past. The fingering chart provided is easy enough to follow, and the sheet music for a few simple songs (like happy birthday and auld lang syne) were included. It was very easy for me to pick this up and get an even tone. I went through the provided songs and found a few of the notes skewed sharp, while others were flat. I tried adjusting the way I was blowing into the piece, but couldn't quite pull some of the notes to the correct pitch. It's pretty, but the sound of the instrument sounds like a pitchy recorder to me, with less range. Definitely not my favorite, but it will hopefully sound better with a lot more practice.

This is just a gorgeous instrument. Not only is it nice thick ceramic, but the tone you get out of this thing is simply beautiful. It's clear, loud, and a true pleasure to play.
