Could this oil be used for pocket knives/ fixed blades?

I have Damascus kitchen knives that I use this oil on. Great product

My hoppes #9 did not have a plastic seal when i received it in the mail. neither the 2.25oz bottle or the needle bottle. is this normal?

Does the refillable squeeze bottle come with Hoppe's in it, or is that empty?

Is this oil considered clp oil or do i need to get clp oil to help clean my gun?
