HM303D-1p Wheelchair, 1 Count (Pack of 1), Red

I purchased this because I was struggling to get previous wheelchairs into my vehicle due to their weight. I’d estimate this chair to be half the weight of an average wheelchair, I can even lift it into my pickup with one hand thanks to the built in handles. It is so lightweight that I suspected it would be on the flimsy/cheap side, but somehow it is more sturdy and durable and higher quality than every other wheelchair I’ve owned. I wont buy any other brand unless I find the need for an electric one but this lightweight one is so easy to navigate I don’t see a need for anything else.

I have an incomplete fracture of the femur and needed wheelchair mobility. We also live in a condo, which has some tight corners. This chair is very light and compact, is highly maneuverable, and is just what I needed. If you are much bigger than I am (5’6”) you may need something larger. As shown in the photo I pretty much fill the chair. Fit and finish are excellent; no problems noted. The foot rests fold up and also swing out of the way (to the sides) which decreases the turning radius in tight spots. There are wheel locks (essential when moving to and from the chair) and brakes on the push-handles so that a caregiver can also safely control the chair. Seat and back padding are excellent (and have a classy racing stripe!). The chair is quite pricey compared to most others I looked at.

The wheelchair is well made and lightweight - almost half the weight of our previous wheelchair. It is narrow enough to maneuver easily in most spaces and it is comfortable. It is good for medium height/weight or shorter persons; I would not recommend for tall or heavier people. For us, this is perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Lighter than average, compact when folded. Easily damaged - the airline broke a part from it first time we had to travel.

I just received this yesterday. If you need a wheelchair/transport chair, this one is beautiful. I got red. The metal structure is lovely matt silver. The basic size makes it through our doors and is compact. The cushions are very comfortable. The cushions may have to come off before folding? Definitely check your size against their chair sizes. So far so good.

We have had this wheelchair for only 4 months and while we like it’s lightweight frame, it’s brakes, handles, leg extensions are all cheaply made. We have had issues with bolts stripping and everything getting loose. I need to call about warranty replacement on the leg extension which has become unusable due to the threads stripping on the bolt that holds the clip that springs the extension on and off the chair. My suggestion, keep looking!
