Cheap vinyl that arrived damaged
I bought a 1M piece of the 4M wide vinyl to fit in my hallway ready for house viewing. After it had taken well over a week to arrive via Hermes at a cost of £9.99, I finally unwrapped it this morning to lay it and discovered that whoever cut it, could have well used a blunt wallpaper scraper to do it. I know this wasn't the case though, since I discovered 3 separate cuts in it, so clean that they were obviously done with a sharp knife ( I used scissors to cut the cellophane wrapping off - yes, it was just wrapped in cellophane!).Had I not needed this flooring urgently, I would have complained and returned it. Instead, I have had to use gorilla tape on the backside to hold these cuts together.On top of all that, the actual thickness is closer to 1.5 mm so I can't see it lasting very long. Would I recommend this flooring? - NO! Next time I'll buy locally in person, even if it does cost more.
