If you use MIDI controllers for your gigs, you have to check out this video!
The media could not be loaded. Ok. I’ve been eyeing this particular case for a long time now. It sells out quickly and then comes back in stock. I’ve done my homework and have carefully planned measurements for this project. I have Arturia keylab essential controllers that I use for studio work and live performances and wanted something that would house my boards and can wear as a backpack as well. Although I will say that the backpack straps are not design for tall people (there’s not enough length in the strap to accommodate) , they do the job from getting the equipment from your vehicle to the gig site for setup and tear down. First of all the case is way less expensive compared to gator or other name brand cases. It was only around $40 or so. Please note that you probably DONT want to carry a $3k Nord keyboard or any older heavy boards on this. But since they don’t make big bags or cases for the arturia since they are more for home studio work, it was hard for me to find what I wanted. This so far is the best investment I’ve made for my particular setup. I am able to fit two boards inside the bag (Arturia keylab Essential 88 and a Roland Juno which will soon be replaced with an Arturia MK3 49 board) it also houses an Arturia Minilab in the outside pouch and all of my cables and pedal. I have also carefully planned the interior specs for an Ultimate Apex pro two tier stand that will fit in the bottom part of the bag. Yes, it will be heavy and would probably benefit in having wheels (there’s other cases that offer that and the 1” foam padding dividers will take care of that as they are removable see my video for details) I have planned and taken consideration for the weight of the overall equipment and it should be equivalent to carrying one 88 keyed keyboard that has sounds built in as those tend to be heavier than controllers overall, I’m loving the way this project turned out and I truly hope that it helps you in your decision to transport your boards. Like I said. It can be heavy once you add the stand, so I’ll decide if it will go inside the bag or not when I get it. But it should fit. The weight will be the concern. As far as durability? The case seems strong enough to hold the weight and carry what I need. We will see. For now, I’m SUPER stoked that it came out great and are am VERY happy with this product. Get it!

Fine gig bag as long as you don't need to protect your keyboard from airline handling
The fabric is thick, like a thick backpack. It wouldn't protect against huge impacts or airline handling, but if you just need something to move your keyboard around and protect it from everyday bumps and small things falling on it during transport, it's fine. The straps on the inside secure with Velcro and fasten very firmly, but I'm not actually sure what they're for. Maybe to keep extra thin keyboards from moving around too much? Both of the two pockets are wide enough to easily fit normal 8"x11" paper/folders for sheet music (on the 88-key slim size bag, at least), and the larger of the two pockets especially is more than big enough to accommodate any pedals, accessories, etc - pictured is the detachable on-keyboard music stand that came with my Yamaha P45. Likewise, my Yamaha P45 fits with about two inches of extra space in length (longest dimension), two inches of extra width, and a little extra height, which is exactly what I expected given their stated measurements of the bag compared to the actual measurements I took of my keyboard. The backpack straps, on the 88-key slim model at least, are very close together compared to a regular adult-sized backpack, and are therefore uncomfortable. They don't feel particularly sturdy either, but that might just be because I'm not used to backpack straps being that close together and because I've never carried something as long as my keyboard backpack-style. The hand carrying straps are very nice though, sturdy and padded, and since it doesn't feel awkward to carry by the hand straps, I anticipate I won't be using the backpack straps, only the hand carrying straps.Aside from that, the only negative I can think of is it has a bit of an unpleasant plasticy smell once opened, but I'm sure that will air out if I just leave it in a room with the window open for a bit.4 stars out of 5 because the only flaw is the backpack straps, which are made redundant by the hand carrying straps, which are superior. Though I'm not actually sure if that's a fault on the manufacturer's part, or if backpack straps on an 88-key keyboard bag are just always going to be not good.

Great Case!
What a great case if you are just putting it in your car and bringing it from one venue to the next. I wouldn’t fly with this case with the way things get tossed around at the airport, but just for driving, it is perfect! The extra pockets are perfect for cords, pedals, etc.

The Best keyboard case
I finally found a slim keyboard case. It is amazing! I looked and bought large ones. Returned them. The title on this one said slim. I always thought there was just one size. Thank you very much. I am very happy with this case.

Zipper fell off within 1st month
The bag has its purpose and makes transportation easy with the straps. The zipper in the front fell off one month in to use. The case isn’t used everyday so after 4 gigs, it was done.

I needed something to cover and carry my keyboard around
I was expecting to be a lot thicker and a lot more sturdier than what it is the upside is it fits my keyboard almost to a T. The case says some movability space not very snug
